Newly restored historical cottage near Zion National Park

Terra Cottage Farm near Zion!
Come stay at our newly restored 1901 farmhouse cottage. The charm of this home is captured in the full restoration using both time period accents and up to date modern amenities. Reclaimed wood flooring and exposed original rock walls recreate the atmosphere of a quieter and simpler time.
Who doesn't love a retro (but brand new) fridge and stove? Cook anything you like or go out to dinner. It's easy with choices all around. Fresh eggs, jam, fruits, and nuts are for your enjoyment when available from our hobby farm.
Both bedrooms feature queen beds and are beautifully decorated. Smart TV's are in both bedrooms as well as in the living room. High speed internet is available of course! Queen Sofa couch in the living room adds another bed option for more people to stay. A pack-n-play is also available for babies.
Enjoy a private front porch and front yard area. Enjoy the shade of the historic pecan tree. BBQ gas grill is also available for use.
We are located close to Zion National Park (20 minutes), Zion Hot Springs Resort (around the corner on the same block), Sand Hallow Reservoir (10 minutes), Jem Trail for mountain biking (10 minutes). Kolob Reservoir is a beautiful drive just under an hour away. ATV trails are endless in the area, and many more outdoor activities. Plenty of off-street parking available for vehicles. (Please let us know if you need more than 2 parking spaces.)
Play all day and relax here in the quiet town of La Verkin. Davis Foods grocery store, River Rock Roasting Co., and Stagecoach Grill are right in town. (1 mile or less away) Other stores, restaurants, and attractions located nearby in Hurricane (just over 1 mile to many stores and restaurants, 7 miles to Walmart), while St. George is a short 25-minute drive for even more options.

Without a doubt, this was the sweetest cottage we've rented on VRBO. Beautifully remodeled, exceptionally comfortable. And we've rented a bunch over the years. Wonderful Stay

I stayed at this property with my sister for a return trip to Zion. It is a lovingly and carefully restored cottage with both period charm and comfort. It was meticulously clean and in an amazing location - abutting a beautiful ridge with a hiking trail and within a 30 min drive to Zion. The owner was very receptive to questions and requests. We would definitely stay here again and next time for more nights!

A very charming home to stay in. Hosts are wonderful and left wonderful unexpected treats for us. The home is decorated with charm and so well done. Location is great for hiking in Zion, Bryce and LeVerkin. Best vrbo we have ever stayed in.

I absolutely loved this property! It was clean tidy and such a quaint beautiful vibe! I would definitely recommend staying here, it’s not far from the park and it was a perfect quiet area to come home too after a day of hiking. I would definitely stay here again. It wasn’t difficult to find and parking was great as well! Thank you again for hosting me. I feel rejuvenated after my stay.

Perfect stay by Zion

Myself, my husband and our 13 year old son absolutely loved our time at this perfect little cottage by Zion. It was fantastic for our days of exploring the park. The house features two cozy queen bedrooms with nice lines and comfortable mattresses. The kitchen was perfectly appointed and stocked with fresh eggs from the host. They have thought of everything! So fun reading about and seeing the restoration photos of this charming historic cottage. This place is a gem!!

This cottage was absolutely wonderful. The location is perfect for access to Zion , while being close to the village of La Verkin. The cottage has everything you need. The attention to detail and making you feel at home are amazing. The hosts have done a magnificent job to prepare a cozy, inviting and welcoming atmosphere. Exploring America

We were visiting Utah for the first time, taking in our beautiful national parks. This was a perfect place to land for a few days. Easy access to Zion and some gorgeous state parks as well. We can’t say enough good about this place! It’s quiet, but still just a few blocks from the main road. The restoration of this old house is excellent. Very friendly and kind hosts. Quality appliances that work well, not cheap like some rentals. No complaint whatsoever, we would definitely consider it again.

Great house. Close to Zion.

This century home is absolutely charming. The owners have done a fantastic job renovating the property for modern conveniences yet maintaining the charm and authentic character of the cottage. If you chose this property, make sure you check out their coffee table book highlighting the renovation project. We spent three days hiking Zion and a fourth day hiking Bryce Canyon. We were originally looking for something closer but are so glad we settled on Terra Cottage Farms. The drive to Zion went very quickly given the beautiful views and we were able to get away from the congestion and craziness of overly commercialized Springdale. We also enjoyed hiking on a trail which literally begins across the street from the cottage. It overlooks a canyon with amazing views. If staying here, make sure you hike to the top of the ridge...if you dont have time to hike the trail. We also enjoyed relaxing on the front porch in the evenings. Around 6-7pm three black mountain goats would show up at the top of the ridge. It was fun to watch them as they overlooked the valley. We also spotted them on our hike of the ridge. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. It is clean, charming and perfect for our family of four. The owners were very easy to work with.

Cozy Stay at Terra Cottage Farm

We love this VRBO! It's cute, comfortable, and well stocked. It's not too far from Zion, and it was a wonderful place to return to after hours of hiking.

Both Sherman and I grew up in this area. Sherman is from Leeds and I am from St. George. We met at Dixie College in 1986 later got married and raised 5 children. Sherman’s grandparents bought this house in the 60’s and after Sherman graduated from Utah State University we moved into this house in 1992 and bought it from his grandparents. We lived in it for 8 years raising our young family. We out grew this house so Sherman built the country styled home behind it and that is where we live now.

Sherman and I both love this aria and have family and relatives in this area. Sherman’s grandparents and great grandparents are some of the original settlers of La Verkin. Sherman always loves to restore old things and after we moved out of the house we were able to spend the time needed to fix and restore this house.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

This is the oldest original house left in La Verkin. Sherman and I enjoy history and in restoring this house we tried to leave the original time period feel and still add the modern amenities to make it comfortable.
