Welcome to the Azores Studio!

Our stylish, modern, brand new guest Studio is just a minutes walk down our private laneway to the waters edge. Our Studio is the perfect place to swing in the hammock or relax with a glass of wine on one of the decks after a busy day taking in all that Tauranga & the Mount has to offer.
Enjoy awesome fibre for streaming your favourite shows, or when you're 'bringing the office home' with our designated work space.

The space;
Inside, the Studio is fitted out with a comfy new couch, built in sofa with storage and a table with chairs for dining/ or working from.
We have a queen size bed with feather duvet & fresh bed linen plus a wardrobe for popping things away. 

The custom kitchenette is well equipped with a kettle & toaster, Nespresso machine with some capsules, plug-in induction hob, small bench-top oven, Nutri-bullet, microwave, electric fry pan, slow cooker, coffee plunger and a fridge. Note, there are limited cooking facilities (as described above). The kitchen is fully stocked with cutlery, plates/bowls, pots/ pans, glasses, mugs and wine glasses. Whip up some snacks or cook a meal in the kitchen. Take a break from cooking & grab some takeaways to bring home or call on Uber Eats!

Kick back and enjoy your favorite shows on the brand new Samsung Smart TV, with Wi-Fi to access all your streaming channels and a wide selection of TV channels. 

If you are here to work, there is a designated desk and excellent fibre broadband.

Outside the studio, there is an enclosed area with grass, pavers, tropical gardens, bbq and private decks with a table & chairs for soaking up the sun or relaxing evening drinks.

The flooring is luxe wool carpet with tiles in the kitchen and bathroom. There is a heatpump for heating and cooling, plus a plug-in fan.

You'll stay in a private self contained studio space situated on the front of the hosts property with its own street entry and self check-in so you can come and go with ease.

We are situated down a private laneway set back from Welcome Bay Road.

Neighbourhood description;
Across the road are the handy Welcome Bay Shops with a great Four Square, Pharmacy and Laundromat. We are also a minute from the Bay Hopper bus stops that go all over the city.

Getting around;
Our Studio is in the perfect spot for exploring Tauranga, close to the city centre and just a short 10min to Tauranga, 15min drive to Mount Maunganui and 15min to the Papamoa Domain on the back road. It's perfect for busy professionals looking for a cosy space or design-lovers ready to check out all Tauranga has to offer.

There is room for parking down our laneway, opposite the Studio with private access through a discrete gate in the fence. We will provide you with the lock-box code prior to your arrival.

We have a reserve at the end of the laneway overlooking Rotary Park, Maungatapu and the causeway bridge over to the Mount.
