About this property

Price includes continental breakfast. Located on a quiet cul-de-sac and overlooking the mighty Northern Wairoa river, this beautiful 2 bedroom home is a peaceful home away from home. Drive 10 minutes to Dargaville or 7 minutes to the beautiful west coast beach, Glinks Gully. Safely fenced from neighbours and the quiet road. A magnificent vista of the river and views. Fully renovated home with modern kitchen and bathroom. Full size wooden cot, high chair and baby bath available on request.

The space
Open plan kitchen/dining/lounge. One queen size bed in bedroom one, bedroom two has two single beds. Bathroom consists of large easy access shower and vanity, toilet is separate. Kitchen is complete with full size fridge, full oven. Microwave, toaster, jug, and condiments. Continental breakfast supplies included for self service. Please advise of any dietary requirements.

Entire property at your disposal, full section, no access to garage but plenty of off street parking

Other things to note
High speed internet available and plenty of local knowledge, feel free to ask :) There is no freezer but a full size fridge and oven. Because of the small nature of the house, there are no doors on the bedrooms.

There was no freezer compartment in the fridge but the owner was extremely responsive and froze our freezer blocks for us. Some improvements could be made in cleaning. There were a few cobwebs around and only having blinds, not curtains meant that it was too light for a good sleep. Perhaps our fault for not researching better.

A base near Dargaville

This house was perfect for us to have a base to explore the area. The amenities were great and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. We were pleasantly surprised by the food provided.

Everything was clean & well stocked including supplies for breakfast . Sarah responded quickly to any questions. One request would be doors on bedrooms otherwise it is a Very cute & quaint cottage. We would recommend & stay again! Thanks Sarah. ❤️
