PENDER ISLAND - Cozy Modern Cottage For Rent:

The cottage sleeps six with the primary bedroom in the loft and a trundle bed (two singles beds) also upstairs. There is a sofa bed in the living room on the main floor.

There are two bathrooms, a powder room on the main and a full bath including tub and shower upstairs.

The kitchen is fully equipped complete with stainless steel appliances. All dishes, glassware, cookware and utensils included.

The living area has a gas fireplace, a 50" flat-screen Smart TV with high speed internet access and comfortable seating.

The large deck overlooks the pool and marina. There is plenty of relaxing to do with a gas BBQ, outdoor table and chairs, and lighted umbrella.

Free parking for one vehicle is provided outside the front door of the cottage.

The most common way to access Pender Island is by ferry - we recommend making reservations both on and off the island, especially at peak times. The cottage is within easy walking distance of the ferry terminal at Otter Bay.
You can also get to Pender by boat or float plane.

There is a small store and coffee shop on site (closed in low season). The Driftwood Shopping Centre is about a ten minute drive away where you can stock up on groceries, gifts, gas and any other necessities.

There are two heated pools on site, (one family and one adults only)with washrooms and showers. The pools are open seasonally - May through September.There is also a games room in the main building adjacent to the family pool.

Pender Island offers a multitude of activities including golf, disc golf, hiking, kayaking, paddleboarding. During the summer there is a Farmer's market every Saturday morning where you can buy fresh local produce, baking and purchase items from the talented local artists.
If you choose, take the time to visit the winery, cidery or any of the local restaurants.

Very enjoyable getaway

Pender Island is a hidden gem, tucked away in the southern Gulf Islands, but easily accessible by ferry. We loved the island, and were delighted with our accommodations at the island's north end. The cottage was clean, well-furnished and affordably priced, and was everything we expected. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We have been staying at Currents for years and always have a great time! Heatherā€™s cabin, in my opinion, has the best view! The cabin was exceptionally clean, well stocked, and situated perfectly above the pool and games area. Would absolutely recommend this to a friend and canā€™t wait to visit again!

Carolā€™s Pender Island Stay

This was a lovely cottage, however, we were anticipating better views from the cottage. To obtain the views in the ads, you have to walk over to the point. A couple of minor comments, a coffee grinder would have been great and there was no indication of available secure WiFi. No WiFi was not an issue with our group but could be for other guests. Overall, the location of the cottage on Pender Island was great and it was clean and cozy.

Overall stay

Place was in a very convenient location and area was very well set up. Couple of minor issues is parking, very limited but it did work for us. The second bedroom upstairs has a single bed with a pullout bottom with a second single mattress, not ideal for couples. There is a pull out coach as well but have to be wary of master bedroom as it is open window to living room. But the overall stay was good

A Memorable Time Worth Repeating!!

My sisters and I were so, so pleased with this vacation accommodation! We left wanting more and felt so relaxed! The ferry is so close, literally a 2 min walk. Everything was so clean and we wanted for nothing. Very well equipped cottage! The Currents is very well run and the pools and grounds are kept so nice! This spot is definitely one to return to and we have already been sharing with our families. Thank you Heather!

Great stay at a nice cottage in a great family friendly facility

Thanks for a great stay. Very close to ferry, but also to marina with great views. Excellent facilities to keep kids entertained and our cottage was very clean and well equipped with all we needed.

Great get away

Heather's property was first rate. An excellent layout and well equipped. We spent Thanksgiving weekend at the cottage and had a wonderful time. The cottage overlooks the swimming pool which was still open and was very close to the ferry terminal. We would rent again.

Relaxing amenity filled break

Beautiful, very well maintained and equipped vacation home! We enjoyed all the property amenities, including the two pools, delicious cafe, marina and thoughtfully stocked store. Very peaceful at night and lots to do during the day with all the outdoor and indoor activities. Heather was very easy to communicate with. Looking forward to returning next summer!

Clean spacious cabin and resort with lots of family friendly amenities

Our family of three had a great time at this resort. The pool area is fantastic but the deck at the cabin was even better. We BBQ'd and ate every meal outside. The cabin has everything you need and is very clean.
