About this property

Hinterland Harmony Byron Hinterland

This light-filled two-bedroom studio sits elevated on the hill, capturing sweeping views across the rolling Byron hinterland.

During your stay, unwind on the private timber deck — perfect for a morning coffee, a quiet read, or even a yoga session as the landscape stretches out before you. At night, you may catch a glimpse of the Cape Byron Light flickering softly on the horizon.

Hinterland Harmony is designed for comfort and simplicity, with an open-plan kitchen and living area that flows seamlessly onto the deck through beautiful timber bifold doors. Louvered windows invite fresh hinterland breezes, while a generous timber workspace offers a peaceful outlook for those who may need to stay connected (though we hope you can switch off and fully relax).

The studio is ideal for singles or couples, with accommodation for up to four adults. Please note the shower is located within the ensuite of the main bedroom.

Located alongside our original Queenslander on the Hinterland Homestead, the space offers privacy while still being part of a thoughtfully maintained property.

We’re centrally positioned just 10 minutes to Clunes Village, The Channon, and Dunoon, and approximately 35 minutes to Byron Bay and Lismore — making it easy to explore the region while enjoying the quiet of the countryside.

Hinterland Harmony is a non-smoking property.

Hi, I’m Mark. A few years ago I embraced a new life in the Byron Hinterland and now wish to share these beautiful surrounds with guests travelling to the area.

I enjoy tinkering in the garden and you’ll often find me slashing paddocks on the tractor.

I live above the studio so we might cross paths during your visit. Please feel free to say hello, and ask for recommendations for my favourite food and coffee spots to try whilst you are here.

Why they chose this property

Hinterland Harmony is set in the Byron Bay hinterland, an area we chose for its unique balance of privacy, natural beauty, and proximity to everything the region is known for.

Here, you’re surrounded by rolling green hills, open skies, and a sense of calm that’s hard to find closer to town — yet you’re still just a short drive to Bangalow, Byron Bay, and some of the region’s best beaches, cafés, and markets.

It’s the perfect base to slow down, explore, and experience both the coastal lifestyle and the quieter charm of the hinterland.

What makes this property unique

Hinterland Harmony has been thoughtfully designed to offer a private, boutique-style stay with a focus on comfort, simplicity, and connection to the surrounding landscape.

The space combines natural textures, curated furnishings, and a calm, open layout that feels both refined and relaxed. Guests have exclusive use of the studio, with their own private entrance and outdoor areas to unwind and take in the peaceful surroundings.

We’ve also created a personalised digital guest guide featuring our favourite local cafés, restaurants, and hidden gems — helping you experience the region like a local.

It’s a stay designed not just as accommodation, but as a place to slow down, recharge, and enjoy the best of the Byron hinterland.
