Bangalow Bails is nestled amongst the hills just outside the beautiful town of Bangalow in the Byron Bay hinterland.
The converted Dairy overlooks paddocks, rolling hills, and rural views in all directions.

The Bails are located on a farming property conveniently located a few minutes from the heritage town of Bangalow.
Spacious and open, the main living area has a beautiful and fully functional kitchen and living area, opening onto a private veranda. The main bedroom also opens to the veranda and is the perfect retreat. (There is an option to add a second bedroom to the space if additional guests are to be accommodated. This room has twin singles or can be re-configured with a king size bed. Additionally, longer term rentals can make use of a third room as an attached studio/office space with a separate entry to the accommodation) Every room enjoys an outlook, including the bathroom that houses a shower. Outside there is an additional shower and outdoor bath in a private courtyard.
Fully self contained with laundry and private outdoor spaces, including veranda, deck, courtyard, lawn and garden.
The property enjoys beautiful vista's overlooking paddocks and hills, seclusion from neighbours, distance from roads, noise and from the hustle of everyday life.
Explore all that is on offer in this beautiful region, enjoy the world famous beaches of Byron, farmers markets, or simply relax on the veranda and take in the view. The Bails...classic, simple and relaxed living!

We loved the location - on a working farm, walking distance to the local beer distillery Common People however beware of many potholes on the driveway and public road enroute to the property ... SUV car recommendedcottage tastefully decorated with all amenities required. Internet connection was intermittent Other than that we enjoyed our 5 nights immensely

Wonderful stay in Bangalow!

We had such a relaxing week staying in Sally’s house surrounded by beautiful Australian bush! The house had everything we needed and was the perfect getaway spot. Sally was super accommodating and helpful. We will definitely book here again!

Hinterland Heaven

Our family of four adults had the most wonderful four night stay in this beautiful accommodation. Perfectly presented on a magnificent property with all the comforts and character we could want to make it such a special stay while in the area for a family reunion. So quiet and calm, yet brilliantly located for easy access to Bangalow and hinterland areas or Byron town itself. Thank you Sally for hosting us and we look forward to returning and recommending to friends.

Beautiful rustic hideaway

Stunning farm property off the beaten track in Bangalow only a short 15 drive from the hustle and bustle of Byron Bay. Sally has transformed ‘the Bails’ farmhouse into a secluded 2 bedroom batch like property where everything has been thoroughly thought out from a well equipped kitchen to a stunning bathroom and TV room and with 2 kids it was nice to have the bedrooms separated on both sides of the house so everyone has their own space and privacy! Highly recommended at a great price point.

Perfect getaway

We had a fantastic stay at Bangalow Bails. It is located in the beautiful hinterland yet close to Bangalow but you feel miles away from anywhere. It’s a short drive to Byron Bay. The cottage was charming, spacious and well appointed. Everything we needed was provided. The fresh flowers and herbs throughout were a thoughtful touch. Morning coffee on the verandah with the breeze blowing was lovely. Sally was an excellent host. We had so many questions leading up to and during our stay. Sally always answered these promptly. We had a slight problem with our fridge and in no time Sally had organised a replacement. Much appreciated. Thanks Sally for the stay and the chats about the history of the property and your herd of cows. It was truly a great getaway.

A very comfortable cottage set in beautiful surrounds in the Byron hinterland. Location is excellent with Bungalow shops and restaurants only a couple of minutes away.

Pure Bliss!

The perfect spot for a relaxing getaway! We took our four month old son and enjoyed all that this beautiful property had to offer. Down to the interiors, waking up to see the animals each morning whilst sipping on a cup of coffee, and visits from the family dog Frankie. We will absolutely visit again. Perfect location

If you are looking for a farm stay that is just out of town but close to all of the Byron region delights, this is the listing. Our family loved it and are already planning on returning. Brilliant hosts too.

loved the location and the privacy and the surrounding beauty .

its private and this property offers just what we love. The location was perfect as it provides a beautiful country feel but still close to the facilities available in Bungalow and surrounding districts. The owner was lovely to deal with and the facilities were just what we wanted. The only negative was the driveway into the property is not great for low to ground vehicles and the last bit of entry to house is not great in the wet. No probs for a four wheel drive though.

Charming Country Cottage

What a beautiful cottage! We stayed at Bangalow Bails with our young son for one week – and we absolutely loved our stay. Sally and her partner were so accommodating and extremely hospitable. We loved the location - just two minutes from Bangalow's town and watching the cows grazing was the highlight of every morning. Would absolutely stay again. A rural delight

This was a perfect place to enjoy listening to cows chewing, birds calling and watching the rain from the verandah. Highly recommend it as a place to wind down and slow down.

Post Lockdown Getaway

My interstate partner and I had been separated for 8 months when we had our stay at Sally’s property. Such a charming place to relax and reconnect. Close enough to Byron if you want to go for a short drive or if you’re looking for a few drinks and don’t mind a bit of a walk the Bangalow pub is a good spot for an afternoon session. The property is beautifully presented and has a lovely country feel.

A beautiful and peaceful getaway

We loved our time at Bangalow Bails. It's a lovely cottage with a perfect mix of modern conveniences as well as the rustic past. The cottage overlooks lush farmland and is quiet and peaceful. It feels like you're miles from anywhere and yet it's still close to the township of Bangalow and not much further to Newrybar and Byron Bay. Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming, and we'd definitely like to visit there again.

The Bails is just gorgeous.

Simple, stylish design with so many little touches I loved - like the fresh herbs! Sally has an exquisite eye for design. We loved it. Especially the outdoor shower/bath!
