Welcome to Carolina Shores II #2203 ~ This newly remodeled side view unit will surely impress! New appliances, countertops, wall coverings and bath fixtures are just a few of the updates that will help create a memorable vacation in Garden City. #2203 is a second floor 1 bedroom condominium with a queen bed, and a set of single bunks. Enjoy a side view of the ocean from the private balcony. Vinyl plank flooring, mounted flat screen TVs and WIFI. There's an ocean side pool, ground floor elevator and coin-operated laundry to enhance the appeal of this complex. Parking is limited to one permit per unit. Sorry, no smoking or pets allowed.

Carolina Shores II is located 0.5 miles north of the Garden City Pier in Horry County. This four-story complex offers units with either an ocean view or direct ocean front. For your convenience, this complex has an elevator and a coin-operated laundry onsite. From Easter/April 1 to October 31, enjoy swimming in the oceanside outdoor pool. Pack your beach bags and chairs and take a short walk down to the sandy beaches of Garden City and enjoy the sights and sounds of the Atlantic Ocean. Parking is limited to one vehicle per unit. Motorcycles are allowed. Sorry, recreational vehicles, golf carts, trailers, and pets are not permitted.

We had a great stay overall, and the condo itself was exactly as pictured. It was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. Communication was easy, and we would absolutely stay here again.The only surprise was that there wasn’t a hair dryer in the unit. I’ve stayed in quite a few vacation rentals, and that’s the first time I’ve encountered that.The reason I’m giving this property 4 out of 5 stars instead of 5 is the parking situation. There are only 23 marked parking spaces for 36 units. While there is space underneath the building where cars are expected to park three deep, that’s not really practical because it means blocking someone else’s vehicle. We ended up receiving a parking ticket simply because there were no legal spaces available. I don’t believe this is the owner’s fault, but it is something future guests should be aware of if they’re bringing a car, especially during a busy week.One other note for future guests: this is obviously outside the control of the host, the property management, and VRBO, but during our stay several pool chairs and the only shaded table with an umbrella were “reserved” with towels and personal belongings for long periods (really, it was the whole day), even when no one was using them. It’s just something to keep in mind if you’re hoping to spend the day at the pool, as seating can be hard to come by.

Very well decorated and well kept unit

The unit was perfect for the 3 of us. Convenient to beach, pool and the pier. Only negative thing which was disappointing, was the parking. Frustrating when you come back to the condo and there are no parking spaces. We had to find a place to park up the street.

Cute & clean condo BUT.....

Condo was in a great location. Very cute & clean & beautifully decorated AND remodeled. With all that being said, I would not stay here or any other condo in this building because of the parking situation. Description of condo states 1 spot per unit. FALSE! And Dunes wasn’t able to offer any suggestions on where to park. If I'm paying to stay at a condo, I want to park at my condo. I'd pay more to stay somewhere else next time if I know the parking at my condo isn't an issue.
