Proudly hosted by Island Rentals of Hilton Head, this pristine three-bedroom, two-bath beach cottage is nestled in the heart of Shipyard Plantation and offers the perfect blend of Lowcountry charm, comfort, and natural beauty. Thoughtfully designed with a spacious, family-friendly floor plan, this inviting home is ideal for relaxing island getaways and memorable family vacations.

The bright, eat-in kitchen is perfect for gourmet cooking or packing up a beach picnic, while the open living spaces flow seamlessly to the screened-in porch—one of the true highlights of the home. Step outside to sip your morning coffee or unwind in the afternoon on the porch’s hammock, all while enjoying peaceful lagoon views and the sights and sounds of Hilton Head’s iconic wildlife. Keep an eye out for Lowcountry birds and the occasional gator sunning nearby, adding to the authentic coastal experience. A gas grill on the deck makes outdoor dining easy and enjoyable.

The sleeping accommodations are both comfortable and versatile. The primary bedroom features a King bed and direct access to the screened porch, creating a tranquil retreat. The Queen bedroom offers access to the deck, while the bunk room is perfect for kids or extra guests, featuring a Twin bed along with twin-over-full bunk beds. With a relaxed coastal vibe throughout, this cottage comfortably sleeps up to eight guests.

Guests will enjoy access to the community pool, four complimentary adult bicycles from South Beach Bike Rentals, and four backpack beach chairs for easy beach days. One Shipyard parking pass is included with your stay and allows for beach parking, with space for up to three vehicles at the home. Located just a short bike ride from the beach, golf, and tennis, this cottage places you close to everything Shipyard Plantation has to offer—including miles of bike paths, lagoons, championship golf at Shipyard Golf Club, tennis at the Van der Meer Racquet Club, and easy access to Hilton Head’s shopping, dining, and top island activities—all within a laid-back, picturesque Lowcountry setting.

Great house in Shipyard

Had a great week at this property. Nicely updated kitchen and bathrooms with comfortable furniture. Our family had a great time and will stay here again.

We had the best time! I can’t say enough good things about our stay—it checked all the boxes: beach, pool, wildlife, quiet neighborhood, convenient location. I definitely recommend renting bikes. The kids loved biking to the beach on the paths and exploring the area. The house was clean and well-stocked. And grocery stores are a quick trip down the road. There’s a lagoon behind the house. We loved sitting on the screened porch to watch the wading birds and listen to the whistling ducks fly by and the frogs sing at night. We even saw a big alligator climb out and cross the road one day! We’ll definitely be back.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay in this comfortable home. The layout was roomy for our family of 4, with separate places for everyone to spread out when we needed to. I was working from home on our trip and the screened-in porch was an incredible place to sit because of the view (and there is a desk in the living room I used at times of day when it was too warm on the porch). Our kids, 10 and 12, loved the rental and said the beds in the kids room were really comfy (as was the bed in the master bedroom). It was easy to cook in the kitchen and we enjoyed watching movies on TV in the living room in the evening. The short bike ride to the beach was easy and we had a lot of fun splashing around in the pool. The bikes and chairs provided are great bc the chairs are backpack style so you can bike with your own chair to the beach. This was a fantastic place for our family in Hilton Head. Also shout out to the property managers- very helpful and prefessional!!

Great Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was very clean and decorated well. The view off of the screened in porch was lovely. It was our favorite hang-out spot during the trip. We enjoyed drinking our coffee and looking at the small alligator in the pond. The pool is a very short walk from the house. The beach is about a 10 minute bike ride away. We would definitely recommend and come back.

Great spot in Shipyard!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was exactly as described. The layout was great with the master bedroom on one side of the living area and the other two bedrooms on the other. Beds were comfortable and clean and the bathrooms and kitchen were new. The screened in porch was great for hanging out and cooking out. Relaxing on the hammock at the end the day was an added bonus. The rental equipment included was huge, 4 bikes and 4 brand new chairs, the included wagon was essential for getting everything to the beach. The beach was an easy 4 minute bike ride. Planning for the beach is needed especially if you like being on the beach at the same time as high tide. It is a huge beach at low tide and small at high tide. We set up first thing in the morning at the tide line to make sure we had a spot for the day. Also, even if you get passes for parking for more than one car, only one pass is stamped for beach parking. So if you drive to the beach make sure you have that particular pass. The pool is right there at the next driveway over and is well maintained. Access to all the restaurants at Sonesta Resort was nice too. Overall, we had a great vacation and enjoyed staying at this house as opposed to a condo. The privacy and the ability to cook out was a big part of why we rented this unit. Check in/check out was very easy. Have a great vacation!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A wonderful location & very clean and comfortable for 2 families with small children. The community pool is nice and a few doors down. There are small alligators in the pond behind the property so watch your step! The neighborhood is beautiful, the beach is a short drive or bike ride away, and the bikes & chairs provided were very helpful! The property and furniture were clean- there are lots of spider webs on the screened in porch, but as to be expected with a wooded area. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this house!
