Our home is waterfront with gorgeous views of the marina and sailboats. It's in a resort community and truly offers something for everyone! A super location for families, couples - everyone! All our guests will receive special pricing at one of the Top 50 Public Golf Courses in NC, Carolina Colours! We offer bikes//tennis rackets/set of golf clubs . A short drive to downtown New Bern and 40 minutes to the beaches! Indoor/outdoor pool @ resort, playground, gym, & tennis courts! Pool and Recreation center are COMPLIMENTARY for our guests! We also have Stillwater Kayaks rental right outside our door for more activity fun! You can easily rent a kayak from them and cruise the river! If dates are not open when you want to travel we have our sister property right down the street.

We offer everything you need for an amazing experience in our area. From fishing to kayaking, playing golf or tennis, sitting by the pool or enjoying the indoor pool at the recreation center! Or if you choose just enjoy the tranquil setting from our balconies. Family room has a new 55 inch TV with DVR. Sports equipment includes 2 bicycles , two tennis racquets and tennis balls. Our game room has bunk beds, checkers/chess, playing cards, popular board games and a foosball table! Have coffee at your bistro table off the master bedroom. Enjoy lunch on our outdoor living area while watching the sail boats come and go. New Bern is a historical, fun filled town to enjoy. Arts, history, self-guided walking tours, parks, antique shops, River walks, National park and a variety of food and great restaurants! We know you will fall in love as we did with the area!
Our guest will have access to our entire home, plus all the equipment we provide for activities. We have room for two cars. We will not be in the home during your stay, it's all yours! We have three bedrooms and three baths. Two of the bedrooms have Queen size beds and our other bedroom has bunk beds. Something for the entire family!

A group of girl friends went for our annual trip and had a blast. Very peaceful marina that you could sit on the balconies to view activities.Shirt drive to downtown New Bern was great. Enjoyed the Blueberry Festival while we were there too.House and hosts were great!

We absolutely loved our stay in the marina at New Bern. The place was beautifully decorated and very well appointed, with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The view was simply stunning — the perfect backdrop for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. I especially appreciated the attention to detail, from the classic records and CDs ready to play, to the warm and inviting atmosphere that made it feel like home. Family Nest

This was the perfect property to accommodate children, teens, and adults during our stay in New Bern to visit family. We had so much fun hanging out with our family and playing games, exploring New Bern, and visiting the beach that we didn’t get a chance to take advantage of the community center and pool. Something to look forward to in the further! Your home was just what we needed.

Hi... We are happy you clicked and stopped by to read about our unique property! David and I are avid water people! We purchased our property in 2016. At first we weren't thinking of VRBO, but since we travel between NY and Atl., we decided to share with others while we are not there! We actually met on the water, in a beautiful Cay in the Bahamas called Hopetown. You will find a few pictures in our home from Hopetown. David is a sailor and has known about New Bern for years. He actually went to Oriental to buy a sailboat, never bought his there but did fall in love with the area! One reason we bought this unit is the proximity to the water, the sailboats! We absolutely love it here. We hope you will as well!

Why they chose this property

No need to explain much why we bought this property! The views say it all. Along with the tranquility of the area, but also the proximity to the beautiful town of New Bern which we adore! Fairfield Harbor is a family friendly area, safe with many activities. Boating, kayaking, golf, swimming, tennis, basketball, biking and many more. Their are beautiful National Parks close as well.
