About this property

Our home is waterfront with gorgeous views of the marina and sailboats. It's in a resort community and truly offers something for everyone! A super location for families, couples - everyone! All our guests will receive special pricing at one of the Top 50 Public Golf Courses in NC, Carolina Colours! We offer bikes//tennis rackets/set of golf clubs . A short drive to downtown New Bern and 40 minutes to the beaches! Indoor/outdoor pool @ resort, playground, gym, & tennis courts! Pool and Recreation center are COMPLIMENTARY for our guests! We also have Stillwater Kayaks rental right outside our door for more activity fun! You can easily rent a kayak from them and cruise the river!

From the heavenly feel of the beds right down to the last spoon in our kitchen everything in our home is new! We offer everything you need for an amazing experience in our area. From fishing to kayaking, playing golf or tennis, sitting by the pool or enjoying the indoor pool at the recreation center! Or if you choose just enjoy the tranquil setting from our balconies. Family room has a new 55 inch TV with DVR, HBO and home theatre. Sports equipment includes 2 bicycles , two tennis racquets and tennis balls. Our game room has bunk beds, checkers/chess, playing cards, popular board games and a foosball table! Have coffee at your bistro table off the master bedroom. Enjoy lunch on our outdoor living area while watching the sail boats come and go. New Bern is a historical, fun filled town to enjoy. Arts, history, self-guided walking tours, parks, antique shops, River walks, National park and a variety of food and great restaurants! We know you will fall in love as we did with the area!
Our guest will have access to our entire home, plus all the equipment we provide for activities. We have room for two cars. We will not be in the home during your stay, it's all yours! We have three bedrooms and three baths. Two of the bedrooms have Queen size beds and our other bedroom has bunk beds. Something for the entire family!

30th Birthday Celebration x2

Our twin sons with a wife and friend and the parents stayed at this lovely townhouse in lovely Fairfield Harbor in New Bern NC. We enjoyed it all even the tremendous thunder storm and torrential rain!

View of the Marina never gets old.

The owners are very kind and patient. We came to New Bern to celebrate my brother-in-laws 75th birthday. We went to Atlantic beach one morning & found lots of shells. The fort was interesting. I would highly recommend the Pelicans Nest to my friends.

Lovely Quiet Unit!

We had a lovely stay. The unit was even better in person than the photos! The kids bedroom is on a separate floor which might be bothersome for some with younger children. A short 3 minute walk to the indoor and outdoor pool which our kids loved! Beautiful view. We had all kitchen necessities. Thank you!

The Many Layers & Deer Too!

This was a definate seaside Marina vibe. The decor was dated and cute. The record player was fun to show my teens. I really enjoyed the private deck off The Master Bedroom. It was a treat to see the Deer come out to graze on a few occasions. The hosts provided many extras and a store was a short drive away for extras we needed. If all elsed failed..."Take Out!" Lastly, who dosen't rave about the top mini deck, and most of all "The View" :-))

Hi... We are happy you clicked and stopped by to read about our unique property! David and I are avid water people! We purchased our property in 2016. At first we weren't thinking of VRBO, but since we travel between NY and Atl., we decided to share with others while we are not there! We actually met on the water, in a beautiful Cay in the Bahamas called Hopetown. You will find a few pictures in our home from Hopetown. David is a sailor and has known about New Bern for years. He actually went to Oriental to buy a sailboat, never bought his there but did fall in love with the area! One reason we bought this unit is the proximity to the water, the sailboats! We absolutely love it here. We hope you will as well!

Why they chose this property

No need to explain much why we bought this property! The views say it all. Along with the tranquility of the area, but also the proximity to the beautiful town of New Bern which we adore! Fairfield Harbor is a family friendly area, safe with many activities. Boating, kayaking, golf, swimming, tennis, basketball, biking and many more. Their are beautiful National Parks close as well.
