With four bedrooms and two game rooms, this home is the perfect spot for a gathering of friends or a family reunion. Its light-filled great room will draw guests to the contemporary furnishings, large flat-screen TV; the wood-lined and beamed vaulted ceiling is supported by floor-to-ceiling windows and views of beach grass and ocean sky.



You can walk right out to an expansive deck with a new hot tub, dining tables, a gas barbecue, and a private entrance to a sandy path to miles of beach. When you arenā€™t dining on the deck, you can gather at the trestle table in the sunny dining room or the long breakfast bar overlooking the newly remodeled chefā€™s kitchen. It sports a large gas range, stainless-steel appliances, and plenty of skylit counters and an islandā€”making a perfect spot for lots of helpers to cook for a crowd.



Two queen bedrooms give you space for extra guests, though youā€™ll want to reserve the elegant king master suite for yourself. The kids will delight in the bunk room, not to mention the two game rooms with both ping-pong and pool tables, sofa, TV, refrigerator and elevated table. Theyā€™ll also enjoy the delights of the beach and the town of Rockaway, with its shops, dining, fishing, and steam railroad trip to and from Garibaldi. This property includes a noise alert monitoring system in order to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Again, please realize we want every group to enjoy their time, laugh, have fun and make memories. These devices are only to ensure noise levels don't reach a threshold that bothers our neighbors. Also, please note there is no electronic video surveillance monitoring pools or spas, or on the interior of the house.

Although we are pet-friendly please note your pet must not be left unattended at the house without you present, even if in a crate/kennel. The host was very welcoming and provided all kinds of information. The house is incredibly comfortable, and that sleeps a large number of individuals. The beds are comfortable, plenty of towels are provided, and the kitchen is a chefā€™s dream. The hot tub is an added treat, and I would definitely return to this property.

Well equipped with plenty of space. We all enjoyed the pool table, ping pong table and hot tub. Location was ideal with ocean front access right from the deck. Nicely adjacent to Rockaway Beach, Tillamook, Manzanita, and Cannon Beach but without the crowds!

Beautiful and spacious home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beachfront home. Location was great right on the beach, incredible sunsets each night. Plenty of room for the adults and our kids. Well stocked and huge kitchen. The home has been completely renovated inside with beautiful floors, modern bathrooms and updated kitchen. We enjoyed the pool table, ping pong table and hot tub.

21st Birthday Family Trip

The location of the home is quiet and private, we had the beach almost completely to ourselves for much of the trip. The layout allowed for plenty of privacy but also good shared spaces. The kitchen was nicely appointed, and the large dining table made for a great place to share meals and play games.

My family had an amazing time at the beach house. Everything was outstanding! The house is huge and has everything needed for a very comfortable stay. Having the beach to ourselves was fantastic! This was a perfect location for relaxing and hopping down to the beach for whenever you feel like it. In a large group people can come and go from the house to the beach wi the out a huge coordinated effort. The property also features beautiful views from the living room and deck.

Perfect seaside get-away

Our family enjoyed our stay at Once Upon a Tide! It was a perfect location and provided plenty of space for our whole family (5 adults & 2 teens). Highlights include: a private path to the ocean, hot tub, plenty of patio and dining room seating, comfortable and clean living and sleeping spaces, nice location near town/shops/groceries/etc., & beautiful sunsets! Management was great with communication throughout our stay. Highly recommend this rental!

Quiet beachfront property

We enjoyed this home! The kitchen was beautiful and well stocked. The beds were really comfortable and the hot tub was excellent! This house had plenty of room. The main living area is upstairs and the beach is a short trail walk away in case you have anyone with mobility issues, but for our group it worked out really well. Rochaway is just a short (5 minute) drive into town and we loved the private location of this home. We would rent again!

Great family place

The property offers various bedroom choices, perfect for my growing family. The pool table was in excellent condition, and became a highlight of the trip. Access to the beach was conveniently close, including from the property. We watched sunsets from the deck. The kitchen was well equipped. The owner accommodated a request for a late check-out. Overall, a fantastic experience!
