Great View but Overcharged

Upon arriving to the property, we were forced to wait outside for over an hour because the housekeeper couldn’t clean the house in time. Ultimately the inside of the house was not very clean and we definitely didn’t feel comfortable walking around on the carpet barefoot due to all of the staining and smells. A week after we left the host suddenly charged us 100 for “damage” that was unfounded and refused to provide actual proof that we permanently damaged anything in the house. Ultimately, we were overcharged for the experience and support we received from the host.

Family Christmas Train Visit

Property was great. Only 10 minutes to the train. Beautiful house witb beach access. There were four couples and five children and more than enough room for all of us.

House was a good fit for our family. Clean and well equipted

Loved walks on the beach--watch waves coming in, a fire on beach. One down fall. The dish washer IS NOT rinsing the dishes. They come out with a dried GRIT on them which meant all items to be used and used had to be washed by hand. I believe another guest mentioned the same a few months ago, Would have thought it would have corrected/

We loved our stay! We don’t have a single compliant. Everything was as it was listed. It was very clean and comfortable. The location was amazing, right on the beach. Communication with the manager was great. The very best part was the view. We will be back!

Wonderful Beach Stay

6 women in their 70's, friends from school days. Lots of stairs but not too many for us. Lovely house, ocean right there out the many floor to ceiling windows so despite the rain we could sit and watch the waves. Bedrooms on two levels so the early risers could have their morning coffee while the late risers slept a little longer. Hot tub was a hit in the evenings. Kitchen had everything we needed. Host was wonderful to answer phone questions 3 separate times (mostly operator errors on our part).

Great property!!

The house was well suited for us. SPECTACULAR views. Nice decks and hot tub. Well equipped. Clean. Beds were comfortable. Communication was good before and while staying. Loved the fact the kids could play in the sand in front of the house so we could see them.

Family fun

The view was amazing and the home spacious and well stocked. The owner was responsive and helped when needed. The sand outside in the yard was nice for when you don’t want to walk to the beach even though the beach was close. The downstairs lower level needs new carpet and some finishing touches. Great stay overall!

50th bday girls trip

Great location, beautiful views. House was very clean, had plenty of room and good supplies for cooking. The beach was easy access , a short walk over the dune. Loved this place. Thank you!

Amazing Girl's Trip 2024

We are a group of women who get together every six months and spend a long weekend together to laugh and love. This house was absolutely perfect! Both kitchens were so well stocked with plenty of dishware, silverware and appliances. There were also plenty of towels and blankets for everyone. The walk to the beach was very short and easy. The view to the beach was excellent! We give this house a 10 out of 10.

Family Thanksgiving

Our family stayed in this Rockaway Beach location and it was all it was listed to be. The views were amazing from the living room and kitchen. The kitchen was huge and had newer appliances with a big counter/eating area and each bedroom had a bathroom close to it. The open room concept had a dining table to fit our family of 8 and all the dishes for a holiday meal. The hot tub was great and the views from this area were amazing as well. The beach was just steps away which was great for our little one with plenty of sand toys to borrow. We plan to come back in the summer for a longer stay! My only suggestion would be to have a binder with the information on the property in addition to the notes that were posted throughout the house, as well as check out info., etc.

Great for a large group

Multiple decks, new decks and great out door spaces. great views directly on the ocean two minutes and you’re on the beach, great view of twin rocks, house and amenities are appropriately described.

Beach Bonanza

This was our third year at the property. Several major improvements to the already fabulous beach house. The businesses have opened up again, so there was a lot to fit in to one week. We had a great time!

Perfect location for a family getaway!

Spent a long weekend here and loved every minute of it. Our young granddaughters had the best time playing on the beach and us oldies loved the decks, the views and the awesome hot tub! A wonderful spot for sure!

Great except for the non-working washing machine

Beautiful, spacious, well-appointed house. Loved the upstairs and downstairs decks. Spectacular view and access to beach. My main complaint is that we didn’t have a working washer for our stay, as advertised. Several of our party had been on the road a few days before arriving at the beach and we were really counting on that washer. Plus we were there for eight days so were bound to build up laundry. Another source of irritation was that the code to the house was changed a full 15 minutes before checkout, with the result that we couldn’t take our stuff out to the car from the lower level but instead had to schlep it upstairs and then back down using the outside stairs. This lockout was premature and highly inconvenient. Downstairs pullout couch was very uncomfortable and should be replaced. Downstairs toilet had a slow but constant drip.

This home is located directly on the beach. It is great to be able to run out the front door and down to the ocean without rocks, roads, or any other obstruction. The home is located along a street where there are no hotels or multi family dwellings causing heavy traffic or crowds. This results in a very "private" beach area. The pictures of the home really don't do it justice. To sit in the living room and look out the full length windows provides a view that very few homes have.

The 2 living areas provide a separate space that is great for privacy. This could be for another family, elderly parents, or in my case, a place for my boys to go and play games while the adults make dinner, or just relax and read. The lower living area can be closed off by interior doors which really makes it private.

Directly in front of the home is the largest sand box you will find. It is perfect for small children who need supervision but want to play directly in the sand.
