This Yachats beauty is waiting to welcome you aboard! Enjoy the amazing ocean views and large yard in this 2 bedroom, 2 bath home. A secluded retreat, but within walking distance of the beach, shops, and restaurants. This will be the perfect base to explore the quaint ocean town.

Kick back in the living room on those drizzly coastal days or soak in the sun while looking out the large windows facing the ocean and great outdoor space. The chef in the group will love preparing meals in the open, fully equipped kitchen with ample counter space making cooking a breeze. This home is perfect for couples, or those preferring a bit of extra privacy with their family as the living room has a new sofa sleeper.

Yachats is known as the gem of the Oregon Coast, and The Boat House is the crown jewel!

The boathouse, Yachats

The property is just outside of Yachats—a great little Oceanside town. The property is quiet with an ocean view. It was comfortable right away and had everything we needed for our visit.

Wonderful area

The beds are really uncomfortable but the location is nice. No blinds in the living room where the neighbors house is so neighbors can watch whoever uses the hideaway couch.

Nice and Quiet…

Nice location to enjoy the coast attractions. The house had everything we needed and a lot of things that we didn’t need. Lots of really old college textbooks and some DVDs although none of the DVD players worked.

Some aspects were great: the location, the big living area,the wonderful mattresses. But it smelled musty, the cabinets were grimey, the complicated TV/dvd system never worked and overall the place needed attention. There were cobwebs and a broken glass shower door has been covered by a vinyl curtain.

Lived up to expectations.

This property has a great ocean view and is located within a short walking distance of Yachats Ocean State Park. You must cross the highway to get to it, but traffic is either slowing to or coming out of the City of Yachats 25 mile an hour zone. Kitchen is fully equipped, and furnishings are comfortable, including the bed. There were issues needing attention in the second bedroom which I reported and should be easily addressed. Nice, updated bathrooms. We did not use all of the ammenities.

Not the best experience.

Clean but musty mildew horrible smell. Fridge and freezer not cold - 65 degrees. Bugs all over at night. Tons of bus. Horrible experience and the smell was really bad with mold.

Good location but…

The location was great and the bed we slept in was comfortable. However, the place had a strong musty smell and we never could get the DVD player, VCR, or Amazon fire stick to work in the living room. There were about 6 different remotes and it was confusing and disappointing. Recommend finding a better solution. The place looked mostly clean, but the furniture was old and the details felt a little neglected. The listing isn’t inexpensive, so I was expecting better quality.

pellet stove / shower in main bedroom

Couldn't get the pellet stove to start - need a torch type heat to get it started as far as I could tell. Matches didn't work. Instructions would be helpful. Couldn't adjust the shower in the main bedroom to a comfortable heat, either too hot or too cold. Never used it.
