A nice private place. The only dislike i had was the gravel road, other than that it was pleasant.

I think it should be mentioned that the drive way to get here is very long, gravel and GPS did not work! When you can maybe get a call out for help. This coming from a person that lives very much off the main road. We found the place by accident! This is very beautiful site, but I feel the house was a bit of a let down. My daughter’s room didn’t have any curtains, so we hung up a blanket. No kitchen towels, only 2 rolls of toilet paper, per bathroom in the place. The living room furniture is very out dated, or rather uncomfortable. I feel there could be a bit more effort. On the positive, it was fairly clean and the view was stunning from the back deck. We all enjoyed the view.
The cabin was clean and in excellent condition and right on the lake! The location is awesome as your about 20 min from most of the trails and town! Would definitely book again!
We had very relaxing and good time ! The property fit perfectly for our vacation getaway . We spent most days on Bankhead national forest deer hunting, and enjoying the great outdoors. The cabin is very comfortable fit for any getaway.

Definitely falling apart some, but overall decent
The unit is the best that you'll find in Double Springs. It's definitely a bit older and hasn't been cared for the best (missing hardware, cracks in walls, plumbing issues, etc), but the bones are solid. It's a home that has everything you could need with great appliances and furniture that's decent. Overall, it's a good place, especially considering it's on the lake. I just wish that some maintenance would be done to fix the walls, hardware, plumbing, etc. Also, the hot and cold on the showers are swapped... You don't get hot water unless you're between the cold and "off" spots.
