The cottage and host were absolutely adorable!!! She greeted us with fresh bread and a bunch of recommendations for local dinner, Etc
A comfy, fabulous cabin in the woods with lovely deck and setting. We thoroughly enjoyed the gracious hosts and their carefully maintained cabin. Many thanks!
This stay was for me, my daughter, and niece. It was perfect for the three of us for a girls getaway! The owners were so very kind and even made us a fresh loaf of bread that was absolutely amazing! The property had beautiful views and the cabin was just the right size. Dishes and cooking utensils were stocked making our stay much easier. We will definitely be back!
Wonderful experience from start to finish! We used the kitchen three times a day, and were never in need of cookware. Our host even brought us some of the best freshly baked bread I've ever eaten. Highly recommend for a small group of friends or a family getaway.
Our stay at this cabin was absolutely magical! the property is tucked away from major cities, but still close enough to several sites and trails. The owners are on property, communicate well while providing us plenty of privacy, and are very sweet! they gifted us a loaf of home-made bread when we arrived. Cabin was very clean, beds were comfortable, and the kitchen is well stocked if you planned to cook there. We also enjoyed the fire pit (some wood provided) and looked at the stars.
The cabin is a small, quaint place and can sleep four, but it was perfect for the two of us. The only privacy you have is if you go to the bathroom, the upstairs bedroom is a loft overlooking the downstairs. The lake is a small pond, but we enjoyed walking down to it several times. The location is about 45 minutes from everywhere, we went to Little River Canyon, Desoto Falls State Park, Cherokee Rock Gardens, and the shops in Mentone. We did not find a bad restaurant either, we only visited local mom and Pop restaurants, and everything was spectacular. Our hosts were very hospitable, answered every question we had and we’re extremely friendly, we wish we could’ve hung out more with them. If you plan to be working from this cabin, you should know that the Wi-Fi is very spotty, the Internet is not good anywhere up here.
