Edmonton is having one of their wettest summers in over 100 years. Unfortunately the unit flooded in the middle of the night. I had previously texted the host & it took 4 days to respond. When the unit flooded the host asked me where I was going to sleep that night and then laughed. Not an appropriate response. Vrbo customer service was also not helpful. I would suggest adding a mirror to each bedroom so that you could do your makeup or hair and check your outfit since there is only one bathroom. Add some hooks in each bedroom for towels, coats, hats, purses, etc. Add a luggage rack or a small chest of drawers to place your clothes. Add some ovenproof dishware or pans so that you can cook something in the oven. Place a few extras such as toilet paper, paper towels, tissues, garbage bags in the storage cupboard. You could add some hooks here for coats as well. Add a list of what is acceptable for the Blue Box. Being from out of province, we don’t know what is acceptable here. Our rental unit in Calgary posted a list for the Blue Box along with an emergency escape plan and their information & license information. We left 4 days early since there was a good chance of rain and flooding again. You could feel the water moving under the floor. We were left to find our own accommodations at our own expense.

It is important we say things the way it happens for humanity sake. There was no time you communicated with me and it took 4 days for me to respond. You called me on phone at 1.14 am and told me of the flooding in the suite, I woke my wife up and we came together to the suite Immediately. We discovered that one room was affected, the seating room and master bedroom were not flooded. We started mopping the water from the flooded room. At a point, I went outside to the window well where the flooding was coming from to bail out the water under the cold heavy storming rain. The vrbo customer service agent was constantly in touch with me and the guest to monitor the situation. The room was cleaned up that same night after removing all the water in the window well. I have never experienced this kind of raining season before in Edmonton in my life time. The effect of the rain in Edmonton this summer is beyond human control. The items you pointed that we do not have in the suite is exaggerated. There is no host that have all the amenities in a single suite or house. This is why we display all amenities in the suite in vrbo so that guest can make choices. It's always my wish to provide excellent service to my guest. This reflected in the commendation for our efforts and prompt response by the father of the guest who was there when all this was happening

Good place

We really enjoyed staying. The unit was clean Bed very good and comfortable. Tv and internet very good and have cable tv. The only was missing its coffee stuff. Which will be nice . Over all it nice and for sure I will book it again.

9 Night Stay

The suit was clean. However, it was not ready at check in time and the owner was difficult to get a hold of when we needed anything. We went days without hearing back. There was only 1 fork, batteries in tv remote were dead, no pans for cooking in the oven, and no hand towels. The location was great, close to many stores and restaurants.

We stayed 4 nights here as a family of 4. It's overall a nice, clean space in a convenient location close to shops and Hwy 216 connecting to other parts of the city. Bright was responsive to messages and kind.However, there were a few deficiencies that were not fixed promptly:1) the railing right inside the door was broken off from the wall from previous guests and was not fixed (which is understandable)2) the bathroom door does not close and therefore cannot lock (this caused much more inconvenience with privacy)3) the toilet seat and toilet paper holder were both loose and wobbly. When we told Bright, he came to take a took, but did not fix them before we left.Also, we were expected to be quiet after 10:00pm (which is reasonable), yet the host themselves would make noise past that into midnight (stomping, chairs scraping, yelling, etc).
