Hi Colin, we were under the impression that you were happy with your stay, may we suggest that in future and in fairness to the host, please let the owner know during your stay if you are unhappy - as that gives us the opportunity to fix / correct anything that we can to make your stay enjoyable. We know you stayed during torrential rain fall that was a shame too. In fairness, you arrived early when we actually had a painter finishing up the outdoor timber staining - so we are very mindful about maintenance. We have a area in our laundry cupboard for spare globes and batteries too, that we could have directed you to had we known also. We hope you otherwise enjoyed your stay in Port Douglas.

Thanks Simon for your review, so glad the Villa felt like such a great escape for you all. We are always happy to replace globes should this occur and our villa garden is maintained weekly, so I'm guessing the resort 'bush chooks' visited our villa, they love to dig up garden beds and make general havoc in the resort gardens :/ Glad you had a great stay, hope you can return again one day!

Thank you for your feedback Peter. We have outdoor timber maintenance booked in throughout April, it has been hard to find a big enough gap and then to wait on local tradies availability has been trying. We do have a Guest Compendium in the kitchen with instructions on all equipment. I personally checked all doors today and they do all lock. We have now purchased new mats for outside the bedroom doors :) and apologise for this inconvenience. We are glad that Lisa was helpful and that you enjoyed some aspects of the villa like the pool and privacy.

Hi Tzivia, Thank you for your feedback, we wished we knew during your stay how you felt as we would have loved to have rectified any concerns during your stay. All our photos are current and show all current furniture and fittings so we are a little perplexed with this comment. One photo of the view out to the lake is different due to the lush garden growth, which we allowed to give our guests more privacy. We are sorry that you felt otherwise but hope you loved your time in beautiful Port Douglas.
