About the home
“Woolamai Breeze” is a delightful single-storey family home in Cape Woolamai just a short walk from both the safe swimming beach and the surf beach, a short walk to the Wooli Tavern and close to the beautiful Churchill Island, plus a short drive from the supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of Cowes & San Remo. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
Entry is into the front Living Room (with smart TV) and provides access to Bedrooms 1, 2 & 3 (all with BIR), the main bathroom (with bath & shower), a separate toilet and the fully equipped Laundry (with washing machine & clothes dryer). Down 2 steps is the central Kitchen which provides access to a central deck and is open to the delightful main Dining/Living Room (with smart TV & Boom! Bluetooth speaker) that features high ceilings. The main bedroom has a WIR and ensuite (with shower & toilet) and is accessed from the Dining/Living Room with double doors leading to the private rear deck.
Outdoor Areas
There is a small front deck at the entrance of the home, a central deck (with seating for 8 plus an umbrella) and a covered rear private deck that has dual access from the fully enclosed rear yard and the main bedroom. The rear yard, which is perfect for children and features a hot/cold outdoor shower, allows access to the double garage that is set up as a games room (with a table tennis table & foosball table plus second fridge and some boogie boards). While there is no parking in the garage, there is space for parking for up to 6 vehicles (cars and/or a boat) in the long driveway and under the carport.
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Breville coffee machine (uses ground coffee), toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and induction cook top. There is a second fridge in the Garage.
Heating/Cooling Systems
There are three wall mounted reverse cycle airconditioners; one in each of the Living Rooms and one in the Main Bedroom, plus three additional stand-alone heaters and three fans which can be used where required.
Bedding Configuration
This home has 8 beds, accommodating up to 10 guests:
Bedroom 1: One King bed
Bedroom 2: One Queen bed
Bedroom 3: Two sets of Single bunks
Bedroom 4: Two King Single beds
Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties, or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies, irrespective of whether school-leavers are part of the official Schoolies Program. All bookings are subject to approval, pending Guest verification process. Local council restrictions are in place for this property, and compliance is mandatory.
