36 Evington Ave

The house itself is lovely but severely lacking in things like baking trays and so on so we had to eat out each night. The spa is unusable as fence is too close to spa so unless you are extremely skinny you can't get the lid off and even though I took a step with me there was no room for it unless I could jam the safety gate open so I have cancelled my booking for the New Year as this one was so disappointing and the spa desperately needed to be cleaned and the filters changed. So all I can honestly say is it was a lovely house but severely lacking everything else , even the games room was lacking just a couple of card games useable, even couch leg was broken in family room. So really not impressed with what I wasted my money on.

Thank you for your review, Susan. We genuinely appreciate all feedback, both positive and negative. Your overall rating and comments took us by surprise, as they seemed quite critical. After receiving your review, we reached out for clarification and learned about your disability, which we were not aware of previously. Regarding the space between the spa and the safety barrier, we recognize it is limited, but we believe it is adequate for most people to navigate around the spa if necessary. The main access to the spa is at the front through the gate, which offers more room. Concerning the spa itself, it is professionally cleaned before each guest's arrival, so we were surprised by your remark that it "desperately" needed cleaning. During our conversation, you mentioned, "Oh, it wasn't that bad; I was just frustrated that I couldn't manage to get in." Your feedback prompted us to reassess the kitchen. While we found it adequately equipped, we have added some new items for improvement. The games room is a simple garage featuring a table tennis table and a small table for card games; it's not intended to be extravagant, as reflected in our description & photos. We want to assure future guests that our property is well-maintained and thoroughly clean. If anything seems off upon arrival, we encourage guests to reach out to us right away so we can resolve any issues as quickly as possible. Kind Regards Management

Our stay at Cowes!

My friends and I have been working a lot and so we looked for a place to relax and wind down. Luckily we found this accomodation because it was just perfect. Although our initial plan was to go out to the beaches to go fishing and sight seeing, the weather didn’t allow us to. But there were no worries because the accomodation provided us with all the fun activities we needed. We utilised the spa which was a nice treat, and played with a lot of the board games and ping pong table provided. Overall it was an amazing stay and would recommend to anyone looking at this property.

Nice home with some added conveniences

Newly built house with four bedrooms and a double garage that has been converted into a games room with table tennis table. Also had some card games available to use. Flat grassed block with hot tub that can comfortably fit 6- 8 people. Good selection of kitchen appliances, crockery , glasses and cutlery but only 1 pairing knife for chopping. A bread knife and 1-2 chopping knives would have been handy as would have a platter or two but we made did with what we had. Also a washing basket and outdoor clothes line (although there was a clothes horse) would have been handy when hanging up washing, again we made do. Was awesome to be able to avail of Netflix and free WiFi also. Property is located in an estate off Ventnor Road.

Great getaway location in the heart of phillip islamd

Wonderful stay, we stayed over the weekend with another family, and despite the weather turning bad, there was plenty to do to keep the families entertained and having a good time. The hot tub especially was a highlight with it being ready to use as soon as we got to the house. The house was clean, and well furnished and decorated, and made it a great stay for us. It was close to Cowes for picking up food or having dinner as well.

Very neat and well presented accommodation, both inside and outside. Spa was pre-heated when we arrived so we could simply start using. BBQ was cleaned and ready for use. We loved the games room and kitchen features. Simply a home away from home. Best place to spend time with my wife, kids and their spouses. Will definitely recommend and use again.
