Not what it seems
The pictures of unit does not depict the clusters of insect eggs attached to walls behind doors, mold on shower curtain, AC unit, the smell from laundry room or the death curb the house is located as you pull out of the yard where cars zoom by from blind spot and can t-bone you at a moments notice. Kyle the owner is very nice but very inattentive to needs of people not used to island living. The pull out couch smelled absolutely horrible, and you hear every step they make upstairs. While I didn’t stay during the day, I wanted to sleep but couldn’t do so. The curtains provide no privacy and even though he allowed me to switch guests, he asked them to leave early because “he mistakenly gave us the wrong room”. I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone with kids. Good for anyone who doesn’t mind putrid smells emitting from laundry room, AC or couch. I would not be returning after questioning cancellation policy and being met with bitterness
Wow, this review is quite the surprise considering my guest was the one that inquired on one property that she wanted to rent and then accidentally booked the smaller unit. Luckily, I was able to let her use the larger unit since she had a bunch of family coming in for her unfortunate family event. I thought I was being a nice guy. No one ever approached me with any negative comments or questions or concerns while they were staying at the property so I'm not sure what all these accusations are about. There for sure are no eggs or bad smells on the property. LOL. Granted I was shown pictures of a little bit of mold at the bottom of the plastic shower liner after her stay had completed and that was corrected within an hour for my next guest. That would have been taken care of immediately if it had been brought to my attention though. I understand that they had contacted VRBO and lied to say they had only stayed one night and wanted some of their money back which was untrue considering the multiple family members alternated on a nightly basis and stayed at the place that she had paid for with no complaints from anyone.
Admittedly I did misquote to one of the family members that it was check out time when it was actually the following day. This is because I went above and beyond to let them use the larger unit for all their family members and had neglected to contact VRBO to switch the reservation over. Resolving was going to be a double booking which I could have moved around and avoided. I did not need to do this because she insisted that it was fine and they didn't need the place so there didn't seem to be any conflict. Just think, the other day when I had opportunity to review this guest. I gave them five stars for every aspect. All of this being said, communication is key in situations like this. Please, communicate with us on any questions compliments or concerns and they will be met with immediately for you. We can only be as attentive as you allow us to be.
The property was very nice and quiet the location was great the property manager was very nice and

Small and cozy. very close to the grocery store nearby, only a short walk to the boardwalk if you like to walk :)
A positive experience🤙😎
Just as advertised. A walk to town took us about 45 minutes. Quiet location. I think that we’ll return and stay with Kyle and Lisa, again
Great stay for the right price
Owner is very friendly. Room has all you need including laundry. Quiet location for a very reasonable price. Will gladly stay again.
Great price and location
The location of this property couldn't have been better. Only a minute from the grocery store and the Christiansted By Pass. Had everything you need for a relaxing vacation. Not on the water but easy to get to in just 5 minutes.
The owner Kyle, was very helpful with directions and things to do. I was there for 2 weeks and would feel comfortable going back.
If I am coordinating a visit I would start with an island tour ( which I can provide if requested). Tour the Cruzan Rum distillery. Experience the beer drinking pigs at Norma's. Take a pedal kayak tour at sunset at Salt River, one of seven bioluminescent bays in the world. Take in a sunrise at Point Udall, the eastern most point in the United States. Check out the shops and art galleries in Christiansted town. Spend an evening on Christiansted boardwalk for dinner and rum. Then there's the beach! So many of them, and they are all public. Hike to the Carambola Tide Pools and of course, snorkel Buck Island. This is the only underwater national park in the U.S.
