Coral House - Historic, Updated Cottage Overlooking the Harbour

Located on the corner of Bay and York streets, Coral House is a 4 bedroom, 4 and a half bath historic cottage (built in mid 1800s) overlooking the harbour with fabulous sunset views. Two bedrooms upstairs (one king and one queen), both with harbour views and private baths, and two bedrooms downstairs (both queens) with a Jack and Jill bathroom. Just a few doors down from Rock House, Da Vine wine and sushi shop, and The Landing, and a few blocks from the legendary pink sands beaches, Coral House is right where you want to be. A whole house generator is onsite to get you through storms and unpredictable island power.

Enjoy your own private pool, poolside bar, outdoor dining and lounging areas, and an outdoor shower.

Treat yourself

We stayed at this property with 4 adults and 2 kids during not the best period of weather in December and we still had a fabulous trip. Harbour island is so special and this home is unreal. The decor and feel is incredible and I hope to be back one day. The owners, property manages and cleaning crew were wonderful and very responsive to questions we had and issues that arose during our 4 night stay.

Couples get away!

This was our second stay at Coral House! We love the property and are rebooking a third stay! Rooms are spacious, air conditioning works great, location is prime!! We can not wait to be back in 2025!

I have no words to describe this island, its people, this house. I’m still on cloud 9 and wish I could transport myself there everyday! Josh was amazing and the house was every girls dream! I can not wait to come back!

Another Fantastic Harbour Island Stay at Coral House!

We went with 3 other couples to Harbour Island for my wife’s 40th birthday celebration — and there was only one place we would stay: Coral House. The house layout, amenities, pool, cleanliness, and everything else are great. Also, the owners are super quick to respond to inquiries and helped to ensure our stay was perfect. We’ve come back to stay here now multiple times…and will continue do so in the future. 5 stars all around for this great rental home in a great location!

wonderful time at Coral House!

Couldn't have asked for a more perfect weekend....Coral House was lovely, clean and just perfect for our family. Close by to great restaurants, bars and beach! The worst part was having to leave but we will be back! Thank you for a wonderful birthday weekend on your beautiful island! Extra thanks to Josh and his team for providing great service during our stay and also Portia for a delicious dinner catered at the house. Can't wait to return!

Loved our stay at the Coral House so much! Perfect location, awesome layout — we had a toddler with us who had a blast. The upstairs room to the right was great for her with black out shades (pack n play also provided). Kathy is so friendly & helpful, as well as the owners. Can’t wait to visit again!

Can’t wait to return for our 3rd time!

We loved our 2nd stay at the Coral House as much as our 1st, and… we have rebooked for next year! The house is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. While its location is in town with incredibly easy access to restaurants, cafe’s, shopping, and the harbor (the beautiful sunsets are not to be missed) - it feels like a tucked away oasis with its very private pool, patio, and outdoor dining area. Best of both worlds! The owners and property manager were incredibly responsive, and the cleaners and groundskeeper were great. Can’t wait to return!

Perfect for friends trip with babies

We had the most amazing trip to Harbour Island and Coral House was the perfect place for us to stay. Our group was four adult couples who each had one baby. Pack n plays fit in each parents room without a problem. It was great to have floor space inside and outside for them to play. It was ideal to have such spacious outdoor space for the adults to hang out at the pool during naps or after the babies went to bed. The house was just a quick golf cart ride to the beach and walkable to a great coffee shop and restaurants. Josh and Chassity were wonderful, communicative hosts who answered all my questions pre trip and offered great recommendations. Will be back!

Take me back!

We stayed at Coral House two weeks ago and it was nothing short of what I had imagined. I know now why everyone falls in love with Harbour Island the second they step onto the water taxi from the airport. It is laid back but luxe, dressy without being stuffy and everyone on the island is so welcoming. With that being said staying at Coral House was the cherry on top. Chassity and Josh really designed this house with their guests in mind. It has the space to host a group (we had four couples) but yet has the comfort and conveniences for a family. The location is divine; walkable from the government dock and the most amazing restaurants, but yet private enough that no one would know you are having dinner on the back patio or swimming in the pool. There are so many memories that all 8 of us will take away from this trip starting with our fabulous accommodations. As much as I hesitate to write a review that will bring more competition to booking our preferred dates (Ha!), Coral House really does deserve the spotlight of a fantastic rental property on the most special Island. We can’t wait to return sooner then later with our children and our friends. Thank you again for making our stay at Coral House so wonderful!

Coral House Stay

We stayed at Coral House for my 30th birthday. The house was big enough to accommodate all 9 of us. It’s a perfect location and so cute!! It was so nice to have a pool and the housekeepers coming daily was a huge plus. We had the best time! Will definitely be returning to Coral House.

Perfect slice of paradise

This gem has everything you need to relax and enjoy the island. Walking distance to dining and shops. Plenty of space to gather or slip away for some privacy if you’re with a group. Comfortable, clean and stocked with beach essentials.

Great house, great location

We loved this house and it’s easy accessibility to all there is to do on Harbour Island. The property manager and housekeepers were excellent. There was plenty of room for our family of five.

Girlfriend Getaway

We had so much fun at Coral House. It's in an amazing location - just a short walk to a few of our favorite coffee and dinner spots - and a short golf cart ride away from Pink Sands and the rest of the island. We're already planning our return visit to Coral House. :)

Lovely visit!

This house was perfect for our visit to Harbour Island. We had plenty of space for our family to spread out. The pool was an amazing way to start and end the day, and the beach was a short golf cart ride away. We could walk to multiple restaurants and stores, which was very convenient. There were a few added amenities that we didn't realize would be there when we booked -- a daily housekeeper, plenty of beach towels and even some beach/pool toys, and a pack 'n play for our infant to sleep in. We would love to go back to this house!

What a great week!

Josh and Chassity have made something very special out of this property! It was such a fun location — close to all the fun and other historic homes off of Bay Street, just a walk or quick golf cart ride away from the beach side, and truly a little oasis. It was such a fun way to experience Harbour Island. Also, Josh was super responsive if/when we needed anything during our stay. Hoping to go back soon!

A jewel in paradise!

We felt so lucky to stay in Coral House! It was the perfect accommodation for our family of 6, including 4 teenaged girls. The house is well-located on the island with easy access to restaurants, shops and marina, and a quick golf cart ride over to the beach. Coral House is ideal. There is wonderful common space for spending time with family and friends. We hosted several dinners with friends and the outdoor dining space, including bar and lounge area, accommodated our group perfectly. The house has been decorated with lovely finishes, including beautiful works from local Bahamian artists. Bedrooms are comfortable with plenty of space. Bathrooms are well-appointed, with plenty of storage, counter space and linens. Daily cleaning and pool/groundskeeper ensure there is little to do other than enjoy your time in this wonderful home and beautiful island. Our week went by too fast, and we can’t wait until our next visit.
