House was clean and no issues with the host or amenities.We did not care for the neighborhood nor the train noise.Our mistake, we did not do our due diligence of knowing the area before we booked.

The house very nice, no issues at all. It was a great location for us to our event. Check in was a breeze and the kitchen was nice but the fridge could be located elsewhere, it scrapes the wall when the fridge door is opened.

Host was very communicative and responsive. Photos accurately depict home. We had 4 adults and 4 teenagers in our group and home was plenty big. Great basement for hanging out and watching games. Within 10 minutes to ND stadium. There are some great restaurants and breweries close to the home. Quiet neighborhood.

The house was as advertised. Some reviews mentioned the trains, and I wasn't concerned, living near trains myself, but just be aware that you WILL hear AND feel the trains. The first night there, the house was actually shaking a bit. This wouldn't prevent us from visiting again, but definitely something to be aware of so it doesn't catch you off-guard. Reviewers also mentioned nearby houses having windows and doors boarded up, which seems unusual, but the regardless of that, the area DID feel safe. The house is close to campus, many restaurants in the downtown area.

Perfect for a short term stay

Although we had a bigger group, everybody had their own space and even had more options than we needed. Being pet friendly has helped relieve stress significantly. It was a great middle location between all of the places that we had to go for the wedding weekend. The train made it somewhat hard to sleep if you are a light sleeper.

Away from the crowds

Enjoyed our stay in South Bend. The house was perfect for what we needed. Not walking distance to the stadium, but it was also nice to be away from the crowds. The train by the house made it difficult for one of us to sleep, but the rest of us slept just fine. Plenty of beds and cooking utensils.

This house was as advertised. Very, very clean. Excellent bedding. Well-equipped kitchen. Secure 2-car garage. AC worked great. Clear instructions. I would stay here again.

We booked our stay to visit the University of Notre Dame and go to a football game. The house was just like the pictures. We had several questions while we stayed there and the contact person answered them right away. We all really liked the convivence of the house and how easy it was to get around the town. Thank you!

Clean and neat!

Inside of the house was exactly as pictured and very clean. We did hear trains on the north side of the house multiple times a day but luckily no horns were blown so we got used to it pretty quickly. Neighborhood is quiet and house is in a cul-de-sac.

The house itself is a diamond in the rough. Tough neighborhood with boarded up houses that are not well kept. This house is well kept for an older home, however and the decor is modern. The bedrooms were adequate with clean linens and the bathrooms were functional. The hall bath upstairs has a mismatched toilet seat which is more of an eyesore than anything. The kitchen was well stocked. Not sure when the last guests were before us, but the floors were dusty and with dead spiders in some of the corners. The air conditioning didn’t work the second night. The property manager was out of town so was unable to attend to the issue other than to troubleshoot via the phone. Second night was a rough one. We were there for a football game and it was close enough to all of the action. Some great restaurants nearby, including the Crooked Ewe.

Manager Very Accommodating/Responsive

Stayed due to a family members health/funeral. Bathrooms/kitchen were very well stocked. Most places only give one extra toilet paper a couple coffee pods but this place had more than enough as well as plenty towels. Plenty of parking in the garage/drive. The manager came out on a holiday/short notice to unclog the vent on the dryer. Had to extend our stay due to funeral and they were extremely accommodating. The location was great and next to a park and 7 minutes from hospitals. We would definitely stay here again.

Almost Perfect

This was a great place for my family to be as we were in town for my father's Memorial Service. It was clean, spacious and comfortable accomodating both together and alone time. The neighborhood was nice and the few people I had interactions with were very friendly.The beds were very comfortable. For you light sleepers there are railroad tracks pretty close by. NOT super loud but noticable. What kept me from giving 5 stars is that the bedtooms need ceiling fans to circulate the air better. We kept turning the A/C down but would still sweat a bit in the night. I am a college football fan, NOT a Notre Dame fan That said I can surely see why the "Nortre Dame Room" would be a great rrom to watch the game and cheer for the Irish.
