Sheets on the master bed appeared to be dirty, thankfully there was a washer in the house so we were able to clean them before turning in.

The house was clean and suited our needs! Appreciated the child/pet gate for the stairs in the house. Was really disappointed that the listing mistakenly had "crib" listed under amenities. We picked this more expensive location because we thought there would be a place for our infant to sleep. That being said, the property manager immediately purchased and delivered a travel crib to the property, so it was there when we arrived at the house. Though the whole situation caused our family a lot of stress at the start of our vacation, the speed with which they communicated and acted on the issue was appreciated.

Interior is generally clean. The exterior definitely needs some attention, particularly the backyard. Not someplace I would care to go back to.

Amazing property

The property was very clean and exceeded my expectations. The owner was accommodating and very friendly. I’ve never rented a property where laundry detergent, bleach and cleaning agents were supplied. That was amazing. The towels and face cloths were folded on each bed like they get folded on a cruise. Amazing experience.

In many years of renting, this was by far the worst short-term rental experience I've ever had. Cockroachs, signs of mine damage, bad smell, dirty and the outside was in horrible shape. I do not recommend staying here and think this property should be removed as a listing. Reached out to the "host" about four times and never got a response

Adequate and inexpensive - but a bit too bare bones

Enjoyed our time in Norfolk/VA Beach overall, but accommodation was just adequate. Not many amenities, very empty kitchen other than some dishes and a few pans. Place was not clean (hair, dirt, grime in multiple areas). Good for a dog though, with fenced-in yard and covered screen porch with latching door. Overall it was inexpensive, but not really a good value.

I reached out via VRBO inbox and was answered 3 times by AI. On the third response I was finally given contact information for a live person who would be my contact during my stay. I wish I had the information more than 24 hours prior to my stay as I had some questions that were eventually answered but caused a little anxiety as I didn’t know what to expect. We arrived late at night (around 11pm) and Kal was very responsive when I asked about the WiFi information. They didn’t have to respond but I was appreciative as the cellular service wasn’t that great. Everything looked spotless and up to date. However, this place is pet friendly and if you’re allergic to pet hair, this isn’t the place for you. There was pet hair EVERY WHERE including the pillowcases, blankets, sheets. I didn’t feel comfortable walking around without socks on because of it. For the amount that is charged for the cleaning fee I would expect there to at least not be pet hair on the pillowcases, blankets, and sheets. The game room with the pool table and foosball game were great but I would recommend to provide board and card games for a little more family involvement. The place was also conveniently located nearby to Target, Walmart, restaurants, and the airport. Overall, the place served its purpose; a place to sleep and spend time with family & friends before our soldier had to check in to his next duty station.

Run down, and un attended, felt like staying in a frat house, from nothing to cook with to stained furniture. Other than location, and a quite neighborhood I cant find much positive to say about my 3 night stay. Absolutely the worst rental ive stated at in 10 yrs of booking
