I was a little scared before arriving because of some previous reviews, but everything turned out to be great. All the issues mentioned in older reviews have been fixed. The roof, BBQ, and everything else were in excellent condition. There were more than enough utensils and everything we needed for a comfortable stay.The host was very nice, responsive, and helpful throughout our visit. The view was beautiful, and the property was clean and comfortable.This is an excellent place for a long vacation. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

The property was disgusting. Carpets were filthy including blood and pet urine. Appliances were not clean. Fabric on furniture was filthy. When the property management team attempted clean the property the cleaner they used told us they not clean walls. The properly offered deck furniture and BBQ, both were not as advertised, there was no deck furniture and the BBQ was not functional. There was garbage in yard including beer kegs. There were previous renters wallets in the cupboard. The property was advertised at entire home. The basement was unavailable. We had rented the property for 3 months, the property was so dirty we couldn’t stay. We are out of pocket nearly 18,000. I will not use VBRO after this experience. Property Management was not acceptable. VBRO did not support the dispute were told cleanliness is not health and safety issues and to resolve the claim with the property own.

I stayed at this house for one night in Edmonton. The house was very clean and well kept. All the services were amazing, and everything was comfortable. I had a really good experience and would recommend this place to others. I have stayed at other houses many times, but this one was the cleanest. I would recommend everyone to visit.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The home is peaceful, spotless, and offers stunning lake views. It was the perfect escape—cozy, serene, and thoughtfully maintained. We felt right at home and truly appreciated every detail. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax and recharge!

Great accommodations and large space

It took a bit to figure out the check-in and the check-out requirements were sent to us after check-out time, but aside from those hiccups, the space was very clean and accommodated everyone. Highly recommended and would definitely stay again the next time we have a large group!

Great Experience.

It felt like you are staying at your own place. Such convenience to be there. The view is spectacular. The area is really quiet and peaceful. The house is spacious. It was really easy to get hold of the manager when needed. We loved our stay.

Not like the photos

House is getting really run down. Exposed pipes in the walls, towel racks and railing riped out of the walls. No furniture on top deck, was indicated in photos. Paid 1330 for 2 nights and it really needs upkeeping.

Lovely home with a great backyard.

The home is lovely and it is in a wonderful location close to shopping however it is starting to show some wear. The freezer didn’t close tightly so it is all frosted up. The master bed drooped as the slats underneath are broken. the 2 sliding doors didn’t lock. Lastly the kitchen isn’t well stocked if you plan to cook there. We had to purchase a frying pan, cookie sheet, kitchen towels, and utensils such as a spatula. We did leave some of those behind (as well as a new coffee maker) so it should be better for the next guests.

Nice but not as clean as would like

The property and location is great and the host is very responsive. Would be nice if they had a standard document/message available with all the basic information so we dont have to ask about basic things like wifi. Also, would be good to fix the door lock. They provided extra keys on demand but it shouldnt need to be asked for. Had some issues with cleanliness: Broken washing machine with old laundry still in it - they could have fixed it before hand because they knew it was broken. Had to wait as technicians fixed it the next business day. Oven unclean - my parents cleaned it to use it Old coffee and fungus in coffee machine - parents cleaned it to use it Generally needed vacuum Some minor scrapes on the walls - not a big deal but its there Garbage bins were prefilled so we couldnt even add our garbage for a few days. These were surprising occurrences since all previous vrbos we have stayed at were pristine. They did offer to clean but nobody wants strangers interupting their vacation. The little things cast doubt about the level of cleanliness of the rest of the house.

Disgusting dirty house nothing like listed

My family arrived at this home to discover that NO cleaning had been done. Probably not for a long time. Mirrors and floors were grimy, greasy and dirty. Beds were not made, linens were full of holes, towels were old and stained. We found ladies high heels and stockings in the entrance closet with coats. There were shoes in the basement. The furniture is not like listed. There was no patio furniture. The barbeque was rusted and filthy and had a broken wheel. We had to refill the propane tank. The water in the home was turned off due to a water leak. The kitchen ceiling is water stained, the ceiling in the basement is falling down due to the water leakage. The walls are full of holes and scuff marks and dirt. The stairs had small carpets that were not even attached and a hazard to go down. The door to the basement would lock and we could not get it unlocked and the same thing happened with the bathroom upstairs. The basement bathroom facet had no hot water.This house has clearly not been maintained at all.When we told the owner, they would say that they would look into it. But they did nothing for us. We had no alternative but to stay there nonetheless. So we had to buy cleaning products and do laundry before we could sleep anywhere.Even the basic amenities were missing, there was no can opener, no coffee grinder, very few glasses, few pans to cook with. There was no hot tub. We were appalled at the condition of the home. There were cameras inside the home!!!!

Horrible experience, Do not recommend. Left 2 (of 5) nights early due to how bad it was.1. House is very damaged: 10 holes in walls/damage, water damage in roof, and many taps not working.2. No water in home. Directed by owner to go to mechanical room to open main water valve. 3. No power in plugs in basement. Had to access electrical panel to flip breaker. 4. Yard overgrown weed infested and not mowed. Extensive broken glass throughout the yard (which I picked up) served as a major hazard for myself, our dog & guests including young children. Also spent THC vape canisters & keg as well. Notified owner immediately and a few hours later sent someone over to simply pick up pile of glass I had accumulated with no effort to remove remaining glass. I continued to collect glass afterwards. 5. Listing indicated a functional BBQ - it was broken filthy & unusable. Owner (again) notified. Told there was a new BBQ to use but it required assembly and I was could put it together! 6. Many attempts on arrival day for access code information unanswered & only provided while on route to rental. Our arrival time well communicated 8 hours to the owner. 7. On arrival house sweltering. Had to contact owner to get AC turned on remotely. House remained sweltering most of the night until AC worked to cool house. Forced to stay in basement. 8. Not enough TP or kitchen supplies. When owner notified, sent over paper plates.
