In perhaps one of French St. Martin’s most beautiful locations, Villa Libellule – The Dragonfly, is an idyllic five-bedroom home sitting high on a promontory in Terres Basses nestled between the Caribbean Sea and the scenic Simpson Bay lagoon. Set on five acres of elevated beachfront, this elegant five bedroom retreat enjoys sweeping panoramic views that stretch from the sapphire waters of the Caribbean Sea to the tranquil lagoon of Simpson Bay.



Despite its lofty position, Libellule maintains a rare and direct connection to the sea, with a private garden pathway winding gently down to the soft sands of Baie Rouge Beach. A curving driveway framed by tropical gardens leads to a graceful entry courtyard centered around a fountain, setting the tone for the villa's serene sophistication.



To the right of the main house, a spacious pool pavilion beckons with an expansive sun deck and a pool overlooking the lagoon and sunsets that set the sky ablaze. A covered wet bar, refrigerator, and full bathroom make this the perfect setting for lazy afternoons or starlit gatherings, accompanied by the villa's surround sound system.



Inside, Libellule combines the open elegance of Caribbean architecture with refined European comfort. High vaulted ceilings, limestone floors, and traditional shutters create a breezy, inviting atmosphere. The grand living room flows effortlessly to a sea­facing terrace, where both a covered patio and an open lounge capture uninterrupted ocean views and the distant silhouette of Anguilla, an ever-changing canvas of light and color.



The warm, fully equipped kitchen features natural wood cabinetry and a central island, opening to a charming octagonal breakfast gazebo perched above the sea, a magical spot to savor morning coffee while watching waves roll ashore.



The villa's five bedrooms, each with private entrances and en suite bathrooms, are sanctuaries of calm. Two are located on the main level, including the primary suite, finished in soft neutral tones with a private terrace overlooking the lagoon and gardens. Three additional bedrooms are found on the lower levels, each with its own terrace or garden view, blending comfort, privacy, and Caribbean elegance.

The Space:

Each of the five bedrooms, independent from the main living areas are accessed from the exterior and follows the natural slope of the property. Two bedrooms are situated on the main level and are accessed from the courtyard including the brand-new master bedroom with its relaxing beige and white décor, ample closet space, and its own terrace overlooking the lagoon and gardens. The en-suite bathroom features a glass-walled shower, double vanities, and a separate toilet and bidet. Next to the master is a twin bedroom and en-suite bathroom decorated in cool mint green and overlooking the garden. A few steps down from the main level are two further bedrooms both with king-size beds, one featuring a colorful jungle décor and the other a marine blue and seashell theme. Both rooms have small terraces and walk-in closets and en-suite bathrooms with slate grey tiled open showers. The final fifth bedroom is on a lower level and has a king-size bed, a terrace overlooking the garden, and an en-suite bathroom with an open shower. All five bedrooms are air-conditioned and have ceiling fans and Smart TVs.

Each vehicle can accommodate: 10 guests + 1 cabin luggage per person + 1 carry-on per person

The Guests can use their complimentary departure transfer as an additional arrival transfer.
