We specifically chose this area to be close to Playa Carrillo and Playa Sámara, and we were so happy to find this delightful villa to truly disconnect and soak in the natural beauty of the area.Casa Paradiso is clean, well-maintained and has a lovely, authentic Costa Rican charm. The pool nestled in the hillside offers a spectacular view and is surrounded by beautiful lush gardens. For those seeking a bit of adventure, we highly recommend the canopy tour that zips across the biological reserve across the way. Mitra and Mark were exceptional hosts. They were very friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. This villa is highly recommended for a peaceful and authentic getaway and we hope to be back!

Beautiful!

Gorgeous house and property. When we first got there, it felt a little far from town, but we soon realized it was super close ... just have to traverse a gravel road. Love it

Little paradise

The property has beautiful surroundings and the owners were very helpful and fast to respond to any inquiries or questions. Everything was clean and easy to operate. During our stay we had lots of four leg visitors: monkeys, fox, possums, iguanas as well as frogs. I recommend this property to anyone looking for relaxing break.

Family vacation

We had the best time during our stay! Meeting our hosts, Mark and Mitra was a highlight of the trip. This property was so perfect for our family. Our boys are 8 and 10 and they loved the pool and were so excited about seeing monkeys (Mitra helped make that happen). The bedroom set up was ideal. The property is gorgeous and we were relaxed there. They have put so much work into the landscaping. I loved having a coffee on the patio and looking at the greenery, flowers and fruit trees all around me. This property was close to town and to the most beautiful beach we have visited. We were shocked that the beach was almost empty when we were there during the week. It felt like we had the place to ourselves. We easily went back and forth to the beach and to the town. I'm already dreaming about going back to see Mark and Mitra again!

Fantastic first stay in Costa Tica

The property and house was all that was promised and more! The owners live next door and were so friendly and helpful. They worked hard to get us in the early in the day we arrived. They gave us tips on the local area that were helpful. It was a 10 stay and I would not hesitate to go back

Beautiful oasis above Samara beach

We had a wonderful relaxing time in the wooded hills of Playa Samara. The two-bedroom two-bath house was comfortable and well stocked with a wonderful salt-water pool, all with grand views of the mountains (and sunrise). The trees and grounds are full of wildlife including howler monkeys, wandering through in the mornings and evenings. The owners are a wealth of knowledge and truly work to provide a happy experience. You get to experience Samara beach and the wildlife at this location, but note that you will want an AWD vehicle for some sections of the road between the house and town.

Beautiful villa

Very nice property, very well maintained and equipped. Kind host. We saw wildlife everyday, howler monkeys, coati, giant grasshoper, birds and much more! The pool is also super nice and relaxing having a very nice view on the mountains... Need car to get to Samará beach but it's really not far.

Top notch vacation rental

Quiet location with beautiful mountain views. The home is comfortable and attractive with well maintained grounds, plantings and an excellent pool. The hosts are congenial, helpful and well informed.

Beautiful house, wonderful location, amazing hosts!

Beautiful house and grounds, perfect location

We loved everything about our stay. Mitra and Mark were great hosts. Communication was prompt, and they were very considerate and accommodating. The house and grounds are immaculate, and we spent many a lazy afternoon at the beautiful and private pool. The house is very serene and comfortable (including the beds), and we enjoyed the second “outdoor kitchen” on warm evenings. We appreciated the well equiped kitchens as we cooked most of our meals. The location is prime—just a few minutes drive to restaurants, grocery stores, shops and beaches (we especially liked Carrillo Beach), but away from the hubbub of town. Lots of wildlife sightings right on the property, including monkeys and many bird species. Great view during the day, and stars at night!
