Serenity at its finest! Our family had a fun and relaxing holiday surrounded by picturesque native forest, farmland and calves! Thank you Martin for a wonderful stay - we needed the extra night! We really do look forward to coming back again. Take care.

Beautiful property.Martin was fantastic. All brand new with super compy beds. Huge lounge chairs. Great shower.. We just loved this place.. Definitely be coming back..

A great secluded spot that we’ll definitely be returning to! It was so peaceful and well maintained. We really enjoyed having a fully functional kitchen and laundry and the bathroom was modern and a great size. Martin welcomed us on arrival farewelled us on departure and was very accommodating as well. Only suggestion is make sure you bring bug spray as the sand flies will get you otherwise. And at night it can get quite hot in summer unless you use the fan like we did in the lounge from early on in the evening to help cool things down. Otherwise exceeded our expectations and so glad we found this hidden gem!

Incredible renovated spot in Waipu

Martin's place was absolutely lovely. Surrounded by farmlands, and beautiful native bush - while the place was newly renovated, with a lovely outdoor area + croquet course. Would highly recommend. Only a short drive to Waipu town + the beach.

We absolutely loved our stay at the cottage! It was new, clean, and warm, providing us with a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. The peaceful and quiet surroundings added to the overall charm of the place. The owners were incredibly lovely and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. This cottage is truly a little gem, and we are grateful for the wonderful experience. Thank you for having us!

Loved our stay in this modern country cottage situated in a secluded valley. Peaceful and private rural setting. Really enjoyed the bush views from the spacious deck while enjoying a glass of wine. Brand new appliances and facilities were an additional bonus. Highly recommended!

Tranquility at peak

% as described. absolutely remote country living only few hours from Auckland .. very friendly Host Martin & his wife with lots of Ships & most importantly very clean property with all the necessary facilities
