Last minute booking and they made it so easy. House was clean and beautiful. Was contacted by the host immediately and they were awesome to work with.Property is gorgeous and just as described.

Clean and convenient. We really enjoyed our stay. We were minutes away from the beach. Our boys liked the short walk to the pool. This property met all our needs. We will definitely book again.

Property was secluded enough to not be overwhelmed by ppl but close enough to all the good restaurants and fun things to do with kids!

Southern Gem was truly a Gem

Really lovely accommodations, beautifully decorated and had all the little thing and amenities that you never think to pack yourself. Definitely will stay here again!

Home away from home

We loved our stay at the Purple Parrot. The house was perfect size for the 5 of us (2 families). We loved the pool area and the convenience to the beach! We will definitely be back, and recommend to our friends & family.

The Southern GEM was a perfect stay for us ! House was filled with everything and more needed. Home owner was very easy to contact and updated us on everything! Definitely would love to stay again

Nice property with fun environment

The property was very nice and the property owner was very courteous. We enjoyed the property and the activities at the Purple Parrot. We would recommend to others and hope to go back soon!

Family Beach Trip

A family beach trip for two adults and three kids. Accommodations met our needs. Location was great. Easy 5 minute drive to state park beach which was beautiful. Host was very responsive to all communication. Check in was easy. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing spring break!

We went down for Spring break with our 3 daughters (12,4,6) and we all had a blast! It was a perfect location in the property by being close to the pools/ Tiki bar area but not to close to be bothered by noise. The public beach access along with shops and restaurants were within a 5 minute driving distance. Our host was AMAZING and the house had everything we needed!!

Can’t wait to go back!

We had the best time staying at this condo. The location on the property was perfect. It was just close enough to the pool, but far enough away, so that it wasn’t too loud. The amenities are perfect for our family and we felt like home. Can’t wait to book it again next summer! And the communication with the owner was also amazing!

This was one of the best places that we’ve stayed at ever.PROs: Super clean second bedroom has 2 queen bedsLight switches are labeledCame with everything we neededThe couch fits a lot of people and most seats reclineEvery bedroom has its own bathroomHOST very helpful and responded quickly CON: We had some issues getting in, but the host helped us right away so not a big deal. 1) you have to hit the # sign before the four digit code when getting into the main gate. 2) we were given a four digit code to get into the house, but it needs to be a five digit code. If you’re given a four digit code, add a zero to the beginning.

Two story condo at the Purple Parrot

This place was very nice. We loved that it had 2 1/2 bathrooms and that the second bedroom had two queen beds. The layout was roomy. Close to the pool but not so close that you heard any noise. Only complaint was too much light in the bedroom when the sun comes up (that’s a personal preference) and the front door gave us trouble the whole week. The manager was very helpful with that though. Would stay there again.

The perfect place!

Love this place! Very clean, great AC (it was very hot outside!), perfect location in resort considering Tiki Bar stays open late. The Jem had everything we needed from kitchen items to bathroom toiletries. The balconies were fabulous to sit out on morning and night. The pool was amazing, even though the beach was 5 minutes away, we had everything we needed at the pool…live music, drinks, food and other friendly vacationers. Highly recommend the “Southern Jem” for their hospitality and great communication ❤️

Perfect Location for family getaway

Location was great, pool was fantastic. Walk over to pool was short. And drive to beach was quick. If you plan to go more than once, paying for the pass to Johnson Beach was worth it. Unit had some minor issues, but owner got them fixed as quickly as possible. Communication with owner was good. Memory foam mattresses were a little too firm for my liking, but very supportive. Cleaning crew could have done a little better job, but nothing major. Overall, we quite enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. We slept four adults and two kids easily.
