Large 1200 square foot brand new suite. With Air Conditioning!
Guests have access to their own off street parking as well as private front and rear patios.
This suite is brand new in a house built in 2019. Be some of the first guests to enjoy this clean space with executive finishes.
The suite is centrally located on a quiet, dead-end street in Nelson BC. Walking distance to downtown and close to local biking and hiking trails and beautiful kootenay lake.
High speed wifi allows this space to be great for remote working.
King sized bed in a dark and quiet large bedroom for a restful sleep.
Smart tv to relax in front on a comfortable oversized couch that can easily be used as a third sleeping space.
Additional futon bed in living room as well.
Fully equipped brand new kitchen with quartz counter tops, top of the line appliances, gas range and dishwasher for cleaning ease.
Full bathroom with a deep double soaker tub for a luxurious stay.
Brand new washer and gas dryers to allow guests to feel at home.

We had a great stay, the apartment is very comfortable and has everything we could possibly need, down to the details like laundry pods. The location was also great, quiet and not too far from downtown. Michelle was very good at communicating with us, we will come back when we’re in Nelson next!

It was very clean and plenty of open space. We enjoyed the outdoor seating, as well. The location was great for getting to everything we wanted to do. The host was excellent regarding communicating and making sure everything was good. Definitely will look to stay again when I'm the area.

We have stayed here before and this stay did not disappoint. Suite is nice and bright with a huge deck. Highly recommended.

Fabulous place with lots of indoor and outdoor space to enjoy. Quiet and friendly neighbourhood. Super clean with all the amenities you would want. Very close to rail trail (for those who want “flat” riding) with access to so many other trails not quite so flat. Nelson has a great feel about it. Be sure to check out the historical and thriving downtown.

A large, bright and almost new suite. Fully equipped and very quiet. Like being in your own condo. Michelle is quick to respond to communications. We will stay again on our next trip to Nelson.

Our stay

Do yourself a favour and stay elsewhere!! Extra charges added up very fast, as you are charged extra for everything. Extra cleaning, moving off furniture, extra guests, dog. Owner of the property entered the accommodation prior to 11:00am, which is check- out time without notifying us.

This review is false and contains inaccurate information. This guest noted on multiple occasions throughout their stay that they enjoyed the lovely suite. In addition, the cleaners entered the suite once the guests had confirmed check out in the morning.

Parking was a bit weird

Bit of a challenge with parking when more than 2 vehicles. Also the timing of the A/C unit install upstairs was very loud.

Hi Mark, Thank you for your feedback, I will note I am confused as my driveway is large and fits four vehicles for parking… I wish you had reached out during your stay if you had concerns and I could have clarified for you as I have not heard an issue regarding parking from a guest before. The air conditioning which was installed for the comfort of guests did occur during a few days of your stay, normally my guests note how quite the suite is, as shown in other reviews. Thank you!

Chique and quiet

The appartment is very roomy, newly built, beautifully decorated, and modern. We felt at home and relaxed especially since the neighbourhood is quiet and family-oriented. Although the grounds have not yet been fully landscaped, the front deck has to be 400 to 500 square feet with a view to the mountain on the other side of the lake, and we found ourselves having coffee, eating snacks, or reading on the deck. You had to drive to Baker Street and the downtown area of Nelson but it was easy to find parking and we were close to the grocery stores for shopping as well as to the main bridge, named "Bob". I'm sure some more ambitious people could walk to Baker Street. It was easy to communicate with Michelle and she always responded quickly. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice Property, Not Ideal For Young Kids

This new property is nice and offers a good space for a getaway. However, for us with a young toddler, the cement floors and glass decorations and mirrors throughout the house made us a bit worried about our toddler's safety. It would be a better property for adults. There were also a few other issues. While the host was good at responding to us quickly, she wouldn't give us any check-in information until the last minute at 3:30pm, after I had to message for the check-in information. This was stressful as we were traveling with limited service from the US. While the property was mostly clean, we found black dog hair on the rugs and even on a "clean" towel, which wasn't ideal with a toddler. This may have been an issue from a previous guest and would go away with time. Lastly, we were surprised by an unexpected $40 charge for our two-year-old upon arrival, which I guess was our fault for accidentally booking for only two guests. Just be aware you are charged per person on this booking and apparently, they spy on you to find out how many people you have.

Very nice & clean, had everything we needed for a quick trip. Quiet location and well appointed. Glad it was pet friendly, host was very responsive and nice. Pricing on VRBO is tough to navigate - fees for an additional guest (there were only 2 adults), service fee, cleaning fee, taxes, as well as a fairly steep premium for our pet and the nightly room "rate" is nowhere near the advertised rate.
