Absolutely wonderful! Beautiful apartment and property, great location 5 min to park/beach. Lynne and Mark were greats hosts! We would stay again next time we come to Nelson.
Perfect place to spend a week. Location is terrific and can walk to beach, fruit stand and even follow the path right to downtown. Loved having my morning coffee looking at the willow tree. Thank you for the lovely stay. The apartment had everything we needed. Hope to return!
We really enjoyed our stay here! The suite was clean and bright. My son loved the built in bunk bed. The view was beautiful and we were treated to seeing a mamma deer and her babies often during our stay. We highly recommend this place. Very quiet and peaceful.
We saw Disney movie caliber wildlife every day: skunks, deer and baby, raccoon and bear! In the backyard! The accommodations were comfortable and all we needed. I think it says two bedrooms on the listing and one is a pocket single bed in the hallway. And lakeside is a couple blocks away. Not complaining at all, great location. Wonderful stay.

Well appointed suite with all the right touches. Great linens, kitchen supplies, lighting etc. The air conditioner was very much appreciated on this very hot August long weekend. Would stay here again.

Perfect location for access to Lakeside park. This suite is clean, quiet and makes great use of the space available. There was room for us to bring bikes and store them, the kitchen had everything we needed. Thank you Lynne and family.
My husband and I had a blast here in Nelson, BC for our 3 day weekend. This cozy suite was perfect for our needs and affordable! The owner lives upstairs and was very hospitable. We would definitely stay again if we come up this way again!
Great place for single or couple, little tight with kids but doable. I ate out mostly but had fully functional kitchen AND great that is has a bunch of condiments etc . In a quiet neighbour hood so felt super safe. About 15 min walk to “downtown “ Nelson
I will definitely stay again when we come to Nelson. The unit has huge windows overlooking the beautiful backyard and it had everything we needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Be sure to check out the Au Soleil Levant bakery and the Black Bear (translated from Spanish) coffee shop when you're in Nelson. Lynne was so helpful and available for anything we needed.
We stayed at Lynne's place for the Canada Day weekend. It is the perfect location to walk to all the activities in the park. Not to mention it's about 2.5 blocks to the DQ! The suite is really quiet, a train went by one evening and with the door closed I couldn't even hear it! There are the occasional expected creaks from being in the lower level historical house, but overall quiet and peaceful.
The photos do not do this lovely gem justice! It is bright and clean! (the summer sun comes right into the bedroom, so if you are a late sleeper, a sleep mask will be your friend). There are serval nods to the historical age of the house. Old exposed beams, repurposed heritage doors, very charming. Lynne obviously cares about her guest's comfort and experience. It is much larger than you think. And I was happy to see the recent addition of a small stove. A good variety of kitchen tools, dishes and cutlery. Perfect! We also took advantage of an optional bunk area just off the bedroom. My 5ft10" teen boy fit comfortably and loved having his own space.
The King bed is luxurious! The bedroom is spacious. The towels are plush! Lynne has though of pretty much everything a person could need.
The afternoon sun warmed the front room slightly, but not uncomfortably. We found keeping the fun yellow door closed during the day helped to keep the sleeping areas basement cool.
Would recommend and would stay again if the need arose.
