Unfortunately the kayak storage cannot be located any closer due to frequent lake flood and unpredictable weather storms which will result in loosing the kayaks and canoes. It is at a very reasonable distance, less than 2 minutes to take them to the lake and no more than five to take them up. People also have the option to go across the lake and rent them at a very low fees and leave them on premises . I feel blessed to have the 2 options for people to choose from. .

The internet works great except if there is video games playing., because we are on Satellite the issue you will face is latency while gaming.,so for that it is not ideal. Glad the children were able to enjoy more of the outdoors, and appreciate all the surroundings. It was wonderful to have your family. as guests. You are welcome anytime.

Because we are on Satellite, during stormy weather and heavy rain , the internet may slow down temporarily but a new company came up with a fast speed no interruption (due to weather) and we are looking forward to this new addition. I purposefully opt for noTV at the cabin and guests have always thanked me for it. The benefits are endless: it gives people more time to interact and unwind with family and friends away from technology and advertising that rob you of precious mental energy., to get a better night sleep, to reduce stress and promote creativity. Le Chalet du Lac is a wonderful escape from the always ON, getting a rest from the compulsory item in the hustle and bustle of daily routine. There you will find rejuvenation, relaxation, peace and quiet, total privacy all surrounded by the wonders of nature, wild animals and beautiful landscapes. Near by are the gorgeous Shenandoah mountains with their stunning waterfalls. Life is meant to be lived , and to experience the true magic in a world of infinite possibilities at your fingertips. For the night owls that like to stay up late there is a 24/7 redbox with the latest movie releases within 10 minutes of the cabin. Glad you enjoyed the gourmet food especially prepared upon request and delivered on premises, ready to eat. You and your family are always welcome. Again thank you for visiting at Le Chalet du Lac.
