Overall, we had a great time and excellent experience. Like I am sure with other properties make sure you bring your own supplies i.e. plastic wrap, condiments, laundry detergent, and even soap for the bathrooms. View was great and located close to everything we needed. Would recommend to anyone.

Very nice home, it has more amenities than are listed. We were told the things we asked for weren't available at this home. Small but important to us, so I wanted to share. Board games and puzzles, folding chairs; there are currently 6 kayaks, but we were told there was only one; fishing gear. Things it short on: towels, washcloths, dish towels, and comfortable seating for long periods on rainy days. Overall, great home and good experience.

Very nice place to stay!! Description of house and everything included is accurate and on point. Had a fantastic vacation! Will be staying there again next year.

Great vacation location

The check-in, check-out process was very easy. House is in a great location in Captain's Cove. Well stocked kitchen, and nice outside amentities (kayaks, outdoor patio set, reclining chairs, grill, etc.) Open concept main floor. Nice array of games for a rainy day. This was our 2nd time staying at this house!

Great Getaway

Fantastic property right on the bay with kayaks, fishing poles, and balconies off every room. House was stocked with games, and was perfect for time well spent with three young adults (23, 20, 18) Easy driving proximity to see Chincoteague ponies. Indoor and outdoor pool access as a guest of this property. Would visit again!!

Peaceful cove location, elevator and roomy unit were ideal for a restful week. Could be improved: king bed mattress (hard as a rock, woke up with sore backs every morning); kitchen fruit fly invasion (we battled them all week with our own saucer-vinegar traps); no instructions for door lock that would not lock from the inside/no deadbolt (called prop. mgmt to help secure on our arrival); electric receptacles in master bathroom went out 2 days before our departure (we alerted prop. mgt.); larger crab trap(s) needed--no way to catch anything with the miniscule traps provided.

Regarding the mattress, beds can be subjective as some prefer more firm mattresses, but we'll be sure to have our inspector check this out to ensure nothing is wrong. Our cleaners will be sure to take care of the flies. We certainly understand how frustrating they can be, and apologize for any issues they may have caused. We'll also have our maintenance team address the electrical outlets in the bathroom. For the door lock, the lock was secured prior to your arrival, but after our team's communication with you over the phone, it seems as though someone may have inadvertently flipped the lever on the inside of the door. We apologize for the confusion, and will find a way to notify guests not to touch that in the future. We hope you enjoyed your visit to the shore, and would love to have you back anytime!
