Ok property, terrible property manager

Charged us for equipment that was never even there! (missing Nintendo switch) House was in disrepair. Advertized features not working. Property manager reached out after we checked out - told us a nintendo switch was 'missing'. After talking to my kids I found out it was never even there. We spent 4 nights at the property and I never saw anyone using a switch device not once (my teen used to own one and is very familair). I'm guessing the folks before us took it and the property managers arent close enough to even know who to charge. I discussed with the Prop. Mngr, they waited a week and charged me anyway. Golf simulator didnt work. Door handles falling off - literally. Oven under stove range makes horrible grinding noise - couldnt use. Heater vent in island fell off and cut the toe of one of the adults cooking. Try a different location in the reserve with a different property manager. This is year 14 of our trip to bear lake. Disappointing putcome with this house.

We’re sorry to hear that your stay didn’t meet expectations. We’d like to clarify the concerns raised. Regarding the Nintendo Switch, our cleaning staff verifies all equipment before check-in. We have photos showing the device was present and activity logs indicate it was connected to Wi-Fi and used multiple times during your stay. An attempted factory reset was performed on checkout day, after which it was disconnected. We gave your party a week to return the item, but unfortunately, it wasn’t returned, leading to the charge. The golf simulator was used for over 7 hours during your stay, showing it was functional. We regret that none of these issues were communicated during your stay despite our multiple check-ins. Had we known, we would have addressed them immediately. We take all feedback seriously and use it to improve our services, but it’s important to respond accurately to the points raised.
