The host misrepresented the property/amenities. Dishwasher, fireplace, Kuerig Coffee machine listed, BUT, no dishwasher, fireplace and Coffee maker were broken and could not be used. SAFETY issues, water is not drinkable, host advised in phone conversation, after arrival,that it's not safe even for brushing teeth, NO mention on their listing, not made aware of this in advance. Also all the cranks/handles on every window were removed, so even in an emergency, windows could not be opened, very dangerous!! Unprofessional and bad business practises, as we specifcally asked if there was a dishwasher and Coffee maker on site and host confirmed that both were available. Having drinkable water and at the very least, to be able to brush your teeth and bath safely is a basic necessity, had it been listed and we had been forewarned about the unpotable water, we would have chosen another property. Their lack of transparency is unethical and unconscionable!!!

The location, inside and the lake are lovely. The outter aspect of the home was gross. It was covered in spiders and cobwebs. I had to kick through cobwebs just to get to the lock box. The BBQ was unclean and unable to be used for the entire duration of our stay. The airfryer almost set the house a blaze. The host replyed in a timely manner and with sympathy but no issues were fixed while we were there. Beautifully cottage inside. Beautiful lake. Just expected spiders cobwebs and to only be able to cook with the stove. Also, there is a canon on site but no paddles so you can't use it.

The first impression of the property was very disappointing in that the entrance, handrails, siding and front porch were filthy. It was covered in spiderwebs, spiders and fly & spider feces. We had to swipe away spider webs in order to get to the door. We had to broom off the spiderwebs from the back deck and patio screen doors in order to even sit outside. A good insect spraying regimen and a good high pressure cleaning should be done on a regular basis and prior to our arrival.The listing said there was a dishwasher but there isn't one. On a positive note, the inside of the home was spectacular and very clean.

Great chalet

Very good location! 1h away from sandbanks, perfect to spend the day at the beach. The property was very clean and well equipped. My friends and I really enjoyed our stay!
