Welcome to North River Lodge, a beautifully decorated home offering 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, large kitchen, dining space, living room, family room, screened in porch, large deck and a backyard full of apple trees. Located on the World Famous Cabot Trail, near the Cape Breton Highlands, ATV/ snowmobile and hiking trails and beautiful scenery within minutes of the lodge. The North River provides great fishing, canoeing and kayaking.

Offering you a serene and tranquil stay in this charming century home with loads of charm and character with all the comforts of a warm home. Located along the North River at the base of Murray Mountain in the small town of North River Bridge, 30 minute drive from the village of Baddeck.
On the Main floor of North River Lodge is where you can enjoy your meals, hang out and rest with your group of up to 11 adults comfortably. A large screen Smart TV set up with all your favourite apps will entertain you in the family room. Just log into your apps and watch all your favourite shows. This family room has a sectional sofa with a pull out bed which is almost queen size. Screened in porch present attached to the family room to enjoy the sounds and sights of the orchard and North river, and keep you safe from bugs. The parlour / family room has an electric piano and acoustic guitar for your musical pleasure and seating allows for views of the large TV in family room.
The upper floor master bedroom has an open concept with vaulted ceilings and beautiful wooden beams. There is a bathroom within this room with an old antique clawfoot tub. A queen bed and a twin size day bed is present. The exposed beams, an oversized window, 5 other windows and skylight over a clawfoot tub will put you in awe of this space.
Three more bedrooms present with queen size beds and 2 full sized bathrooms will keep all guests cozy and comfortable.
The soft glow of the programmed window candle lights which come on everyday at dusk adds a little magical experience to your stay.

Guests can access all of main and upper floor, front mud room, rear screened in porch, large deck and backyard.
Owner uses private basement unit with a separate entrance.

Other things to note
North River Lodge is located in a non cell coverage zone. There is no cell service at the house or in the close vicinity. There is Starlink Satellite WIFI present. So please ensure your WIFI calling is set up on your cell phone in order to receive mobile phone calls and SMS text messages. Most communication apps work great in WIFI.
There is no landline phone available at house.
