Welcome! We are excited to invite you to your get-away at our small home, affectionately called “The Nest” that is sometimes vacant at various times throughout the year. Kye Bay is nestled on the East Coast of central Vancouver Island, BC in the town of Comox.

We offer your stay at our coach house style home, situated bank side on a quiet lane, across from a parklet beach access on lower Kye Bay Road. Enjoy the seasonal views of Mother Nature‘s bounty of wildlife and all beach activities. We are close to CFB Comox, airport, Mt. Washington, all amenities and recreation options in the Comox Valley. We love pets, but this is a pet free rental please.

Take advantage while we are away…escape to the beach and enjoy your stay in our open concept 1 bedroom home. The property is shared with the original cabin, that grew over the years, now called Kye Bay Cottage where we generationally reside with the Nest. The Nest is a versatile family home for a getaway ideally for 1 person, or a couple. But visitors have shared to is also perfect couple to accommodate a family with the additional sleeping.

The couch converts to a mattress quality twin bed and the settee converts to a mattress quality single bed, both in the living room. If needed, squeeze another in with a single mattress on the floor. Please keep in mind that this will make the 700 sq/ft space full.

This property provides a covered sitting area and outdoor seating options with the vast beach that is steps away. Enjoy all the modern conveniences of our home with a split head, queen electric bed (to enjoy the view while sipping your morning coffee in bed), dishwasher, washer/dryer, oven, counter cooktop, microwave, TV and wifi. Please note the wifi can be unpredictably impacted by increased air activity at CFB Comox.

The generous sized bathroom has heated tile floors, full shower with bathtub, and bidet toilet. Private entrance and yard - foot bath at staircase necessary to maintain the clean space - no sand below the stairs please. Checkin 4 pm and checkout 10 am. Minimal 2 night stay. When you enjoy a week - check in is noon onwards on Saturday’s and check out by noon Friday‘s. Weekly rate 10% discount.
