About this property
Harrison Avenue House — Downtown Leadville
Summary:
Harrison Avenue House is a single-level, 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home on Harrison Avenue in downtown Leadville, Colorado. The home sleeps up to 6 guests across a king master with en-suite bath, a queen bedroom, and a bunk room — a setup suited to two couples, families with children, and small groups traveling with a dog.
The location is the home's defining feature: it sits one block off Main Street, a two-minute walk from Leadville's restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and grocery, with the Mineral Belt Trail adjacent to the property and Ice Palace Park directly across the street. Guests routinely note they never need to move the car once they arrive.
Inside, a full kitchen, a large dining table, board games, and local artwork throughout give groups room to settle in. An indoor fireplace and bay windows frame mountain views. Because the home is all on one level, it works well for guests traveling with toddlers or grandparents.
Ski Cooper (US-24) and Copper Mountain (Highway 91) are each about a 30-minute drive. Summer brings hiking, cycling on the Mineral Belt Trail, ATV trails, and the Leadville scenic train.
No air conditioning — the 10,152 ft elevation keeps nights in the 40s–50s even in mid-summer. Pet-friendly (one dog, fee applies). Managed by Traverse Hospitality. Lake County License #004268.
