Fun weekend

Very conveniently located - easy walk to restaurants and beach. Heard the trains but not too disturbing. Outside areas - balcony and pool - were perfect for reading and having a cocktail and watching the sunset. Great weekend!

Awesome for families with young kids

We loved the convenience of the pool and proximity to the beach/restuarants. We had 3 kids under 5 and had plenty of room for pack and plays, etc.

Great Experience

We had a great stay, and the online listing accurately represented the property. Very clean, great size bedrooms/living area, and fantastic open concept. The pool is a walk out from the living room which could be very convenient during the summer. The only item to be aware of, is the train station is literally in your backyard by the bedrooms. Windows are decent soundproof, but you can hear it go by. We had two young kids, so they loved seeing the train go by, but for light sleepers, could be a concern.

Great location with pool right outside the door

Love this condo! Have stayed here in the past and love the location, it is literally the location to be, we can walk to everything and the pool is right outside the door. The beds are comfy, and the condo is spacious. If we had to give any negative feedback we would say that it’s time to replace the stove, toaster and plates as they are past their prime. We like to cook and the kitchen is struggling but we were able to work around the issues. There are plenty of towels available, which is also nice. Even with these negatives, we will be back! We also love the condo’s observation deck at sunset. It’s a great place to have a drink and play cards at sunset.

Perfect Location

My husband and I enjoyed a week away at this perfect location. We were able to walk everywhere in New Buffalo (grocery, bars, restaurants, shops & beach). This unit walks right out to the pool which was rarely used by others. The unit itself is very spacious. We could have easily brought 2-3 of our children and had plenty of space. The pictures do not do it justice ;) Everything was nice and well kept! We look forward to booking this unit again.

Nice condo in perfect location

It's a nice clean condo with comfy beds! Close to everything! Could use a light in the room with the lock boxes. Easy to access, highly recommend.

Once a luxury condo now just average

We have been renting this unit for the last 8 years. We have always enjoyed our stay at this condo and found it to be clean with great amenities. The last 3 years there has been a noticeable decline in the care of this unit. This year we found this unit not to be “luxurious” as listed on the website. It was disturbing to discover the shower with an orange stain in the corners of the shower, bottom of shower floor in grout, and across the bottom of shower door which has noticeably increased with each stay. It appears to be some form of mold (pink mold). The bedding and towels are subpar. Wash clothes and some beach towels were sparse,torn, and frayed on the edges. The refrigerator was not wiped out and had residue from previous renters in the drawers and on the shelves. We always love to sit on the balcony in the past….not this year. The balcony looked like it had not been swept during the rental season and had multiple spider webs in the corners and on the ceiling. The patio doors/windows had a film of dust and fingerprints from kids on them. The couches are no longer comfortable to sit on as you sink into the cushions. Stains on the carpet showed no attempt to spot clean as stains have been there for the last 3 years with the addition of a few more. This is sad as it is a great unit but NOT a luxury condo as listed. It is discouraging, as we really like this condo, but can’t see paying the increasing rental rates in its present state.

Awesome condo!

We loved our stay here. The location is absolutely perfect. With the pool right off the kitchen, it felt like our own private pool! It also helped that we were the only ones in it during our stay. The beach is a short and scenic walk away and the condo is right in downtown, so a close walk to bars and restaurants. We loved Nancy’s ice cream, which is closeby. The beach was clean and the kids loved the playground. The condo itself was very roomy and the kitchen was spacious for cooking. It was great to have two full bathrooms, however the one shower wast working when we were there. It worked out as our kids just used the master bath shower. Tons of natural light and two porches/balconies made this an awesome condo. Would highly recommend.

Awesome but some things missing

Awesome location!! Right by the beach and within walking distance of all kinds of restaurants and activities. Loved it!! Items missing: No Kleenex provided. We used toilet paper, but not ideal. No Saran Wrap or foil. Also, no storage containers or Tupperware. We bought fruit and had nothing to store it in after we cut it up. We used the stock pot and a pot/pan with the lids to protect it. Part of are instructions included having to start laundry ( towels) before checking out. There was no laundry detergent provided. We had to buy these items for basic needs during our stay. We did not expect to have to supply basic kitchen needs and spent extra money to buy storage containers/baggies to preserve our food. We also had to buy laundry detergent. The price of the condo is very reasonable, however, basic kitchen and laundry needs should be provided for by the tenant. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks!

February in New Buffalo

The condo was well appointed, clean and within walking distance to the beach, grocery store and several restaurants and shops. The attached garage was a plus and the fitness room and indoor pool were both in excellent condition and much appreciated during our winter stay in MI! We had a brief issue with a key mix up, but Peachy was in touch by phone in short order to talk us through a solution to access the condo. Randy was also very responsive to our questions about the condo and New Buffalo area. We'd certainly stay in the New Buffalo area again, and would recommend this condo to anyone visiting the area. We've stayed in some rentals in the past where cleanliness was an issue and kitchen "supplies" (i.e. dishes, glasses, cooking utensils, etc.) have been minimal or in poor condition. We had neither of these issues at this New Buffalo condo. Overall, we were very pleased with our experience.

Five Star All Around!

Recently stayed in this condo for an extended holiday weekend, and it was fabulous! An ideal location next to the Stray Dog, and just a short walk to the beach, or to the main street where shops and entertainment are located. This condo was exceptionally clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Plenty of room for us and two twenty-something kids. It was well stocked with towels, pillows, and extras. Though we cook only minimally, the kitchen had everything necessary and more for prepping, cooking, or grilling. The unit has a side door that conveniently opens on to the pool deck while a front balcony offers a picturesque view of the lake and harbor. We are looking forward to returning!

Great Vacation in New Buffalo

My family and I had a wonderful vacation in this condo in New Buffalo. The location was perfect within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and shops. The unit was neat, clean and modern. Many linens and cleaning supplies were available, and the appliances were in good working order. The beds were very comfortable. There was a pool right outside our unit and a workout room close by. I would highly recommend this to others.
