The house was beautiful, clean, and comfortable overall, making it appealing for a family getaway.Unfortunately, several issues affected our stay. The day before arrival, we were informed that the dishwasher was broken and could not be repaired in time. Low-quality disposable plates and cutlery were provided, but we still had to wash dishes by hand throughout our stay.We had brought our family together to celebrate my mother’s 89th birthday. My husband and I were organizing the celebration and preparing the birthday meal while caring for two elderly family members and our adult son, who is blind and autistic. With so much already to manage, the extra work was particularly inconvenient. The entrance light was not working when we arrived after dark. In addition, the upstairs shower door came off its track and fell toward a family member. Fortunately, no one was hurt, and management arranged repairs the following day.We appreciated the prompt response to the shower door issue. Management also offered a partial refund for the dishwasher inconvenience. As of this review, we have not yet received it. We hope the promised compensation will be completed soon.Overall, the house itself was lovely, but the maintenance issues and resulting inconvenience detracted from our experience.
