The location was awesome. Great views from every window and very secluded. We did have some issues with the check in but the owners had there local handyman meet us at the house and the issue was resolved. A big plus is that the home is handicap accessible, having grab bars in the downstairs bathroom and even an adjustable type bed for someone who needs to incline while sleeping. Would recommend the home for a large group, plenty of room and just a short drive to town.

Beautiful home and views!
My family and I had a lovely time at this home! It was clean, comfortable, beautiful views and great location!
This home, although older and in need of updating and renewal of decor, is in the very best location on the Cape. The views are stunning and the access to everything more than make up for what is lacking in amenities . There is plenty of room for all our guests. We could not have had a more wonderful week. Thank you for sharing this lovely slice of the world with us.
We actually live on Cape Cod but were looking for a place to get away with our adult children and their partners but we didn't want to have to spend our time driving far away. This was the most perfect house for us, an absolutely gorgeous view, perfect for privacy if you wanted it. My son's partner remarked, "I want this to be the family weekend away house every time!" And she's right! P-Town is just minutes away. The view is maybe the most stunning anywhere and it's a great place to go for walks. We can't say enough about how exactly right this house was for us. Thank you, Annemarie! We hope to come back!
The home is located on the top of a huge sand dune overlooking Provincetown, with spectacular views of the bay and ocean too! Under a mile walk on a sand road you’ll reach the National seashore’s High Head Beach!! The space is ideal for 2 families with 2 complete kitchens and separate level living. Our dog enjoyed the very large yard and wrap around upper level deck also. It is an overall very quiet neighborhood along with the sounds of distant ocean waves crashing!! The home is equipped with absolutely everything you should need … down to laundry detergent and beach chairs!! The owners were extremely attentive to all of our needs and returned our emails promptly
Four high school friends celebrating their 70th birthdays
Four women gathered from CA, NC, VT, and MA...having gone to high school together and turning 70 this year. Wonderful three nights! The views were spectacular (the Bay and the Ocean at the same time!)...amazing sunsets. We cooked all of our meals. One of our group (who loves to cook and did the majority of our main dishes) is in rental houses a great deal for her work as a musician. She said it was the best appointed kitchen she had ever seen in a rental. She also loved the grill, so easy to operate. Easy access to beaches and Provincetown and lovely walks right from the house that take you to the ocean. We each had our own bedroom, so that worked well. The picture window next to the dining room table allowed us to continue enjoying the view even when we moved inside to eat...the the September evenings were a bit chilly. We swam each day, either at Head of the Meadow or Corn Hill Beach. Overall, we found the house even better than described. We would go back in a heartbeat.
We stayed for a week and enjoyed the amazing view from the deck but we also felt disappointed by the condition of the house. There is a dreary wall-to-wall carpet as you enter the living room that is stained in several places. The bedding and floor mats in the bathroom were clean but very, very old, and one quilt even had rips in it. The upstairs kitchen is well-equipped and everything works. The upstairs bedroom and bathroom are fine but note that you must walk through the bathroom to get to the other room on the 2nd floor. - - Downstairs are three bedrooms that all share a hallway bathroom with a shower. There is a half bathroom that is accessible to only one of the bedrooms. Again, all was clean but very outdated. The shower looks like it once had sliding doors but all that remains is the frame so there is a shower curtain instead. The closet in the bedroom has old metal hangars. With a weekly rate of $7200+, it would be nice if someone spent a few dollars at Target to get some fresh towels, floor mats, hangars, and bedding. We had a nice time and all went well - - it was just disappointing that nothing was fresh.
The Pros- excellent location. Absolutely stunning views and close to PTWON while being very quiet. You can walk to the ocean from the house if you don’t mind dealing with a couple of hills, but gorgeous walk through the dunes. We were able to catch the shuttle on 6A to get back and forth to PTWON for dinner, also no trouble getting an UBER if necessary. There is also a sweet little paved bike path that brings you to Head of the Meadow- just a short 2.5 mile bike ride in each direction. The not so great part-When we arrived on Friday, we found what appeared to be construction materials left throughout the house from a recent window replacement project. There were tools, window coverings, and other materials present. The second issue occurred Monday morning at approximately 7:45 AM. Despite having specifically asked the caretaker to let us know if anyone would be coming to the property during our stay, a landscaping crew arrived completely unannounced. The crew arrived with chainsaws, hedge trimmers, and other power equipment, and worked at the property for approximately eight hours. The noise was constant and intrusive -We had to stay away from the house for the whole day- The local caretaker was extremely apologetic, but still it needed to be tolerated. we genuinely enjoyed the home and its location. These issues did not ruin our trip, but they did create a difficult and stressful start to what was otherwise a very wonderful vacation

It’s great to hear you enjoyed the excellent location, stunning views, and the quiet setting close to Provincetown, as well as the walk to the ocean through the dunes. We also appreciate your patience and understanding regarding the unexpected construction materials and the initial landscaping work at the start of your stay. Your cooperation while our local team addressed these issues was very helpful, and we’re glad they were resolved during your visit. We’re pleased you had a positive experience overall and would be happy to welcome you back in the future.
