Perfect location

Our family loved it at Monkey Business❤️ cute house and perfect neighborhood with pool access. We could take our daily runs down 30a and even walk to beach!! We will definitely book here again!

Monkey Business

When arriving it’s was obvious that the unit needed a deep clean. The furniture had stains and the carpet was very dirty and ripped in places. Broken tile that was taped due to exposure for safety (which we appreciated) and the dishes were dirty in the cabinets. We cooked a lot so this was time consuming to wash all dishes before we could use.

Poor communication with a broken fridge among other things

Location was right next to the pool which was nice and you could walk to the beach but we chose to drive with our family of 5. The downside to staying here was walking into an unplugged fridge pulled away from the wall. It never worked and was warm the whole time. The freezer kind of worked, but we talked to management and no one came and fixed it or checked in on our situation. My husband has dietary restrictions and this made it challenging. He ended up getting sick with food poisoning from eating items that were between temperatures in the fridge. This was his birthday trip and no one wants to get sick on vacation or for their birthday. There was black mold on about half of the bathroom ceiling. There was mold all over the washing machine rubber gasket. Dog hair was all over the furniture on the back porch. On the post it says sleeps 8 with 2 twin Aerobed air mattresses. Our family was counting on these for our boys but they were nowhere to be found. We asked for one and we received a queen bed that couldn't be used in the room arrangement because of the size. Our trip was a whirlwind and the convenience you expect when you stay somewhere was not so. We told management as we left that we hoped they sorted this out for the family that was coming after us. It was a disappointment and needless to say we won't be coming back to visit here again.

Beautiful property. Only suggestion. Upstairs guest bathroom door difficult to close. Makes a loud noise when pulling it shut that can wake up other guests. Guest bath needs hair dryer. Advertised free rounds of golf at Santa Rosa. When my son called, he was informed that the golf had been discontinued there for over a year. Rental agency did make it good and set up a tee time at another course in Destin.

Can’t say enough about how great the property and location was. It was above my expectations and we will certainly try Monkey Business on our next trip to Hwy 301 in Santa Rosa Beach.

Great location and nice neighborhood.

Would have preferred the kitchen be better stocked. We only had one serving bowl. The ice maker worked but the lever was broken off so it never stopped making ice. It overflowed into the freezer compartment.

Week at Monkey Business

Overall we had a great experience at the property. The location was ideal to the pool and to several beach access points and restaurants. Quiet neighborhood was enjoyed from various porches. Amenities were a nice touch like shampoo, we had plenty of everything for our stay. Property was clean overall however carpet could use heavy clean or replaced.

Cute home in walking distance of Santa Rosa Beach

The home was clean and well-equipped. The check-in process was simple and flexible. There is a lot in walking distance, including the beach, a nature preserve, and shopping. Additionally, the neighborhood is quiet and pet friendly, making it easy to walk my pooch!

Best Location we found in Destin

Great little deck with wooded area behind. Back has fence running along the Back, which helped reassure us if our puppies got off their leash they would not get lost in the woods 😀 just around the corner was the beautiful beach. The home seemed spotless and all steps had been taken to sanitize everything there. We had awesome trip and will be staying here again. Security gate, lighting and overall security made us feel very safe in unfamiliar territory. The place to stay in Florida.

This property is located in a beautiful, quiet, gated residential community of about 40 privates homes (many are rentals). Easy access to the beach via a 10 minute walk. The house is large and very nicely appointed with comfortable furniture and a pool directly across the street. The only downside was that the property could seriously use a deep cleaning of the floors, carpeting, and blinds.

Relaxing beach vacay

Our family stayed here for a week and had a wonderful time! The pool is right across from the house and about a 5 minute bike ride to the beach. Very nice and clean and nicely decorated. We will definitely stay here again!
