Lots of space!

There are four large bedrooms, a large dining table, game room, a private pool and a short walk to a park and the beach. The house was comfortable and cozy. It's tucked into a cute little beach neighborhood.I loved it!

Our 3 generations of a family of 7 had a great time. Beach was super close to walk to and house was great for our needs. Minor issues from storms that blew thru were taken care of right away.

We had a very pleasant stay here. We were able to get an early check-in upon request. We only had a few minor issues: not enough toilet paper and missing sheets for the pull out couches. This was taken care of with a call to the owner. We had 14 adults and the place can comfortably sleep 16. Great views of the pool and garden area. The house was clean. Fridge in kitchen and by pool table downstairs. Comfortable temperature. We used the wagon to haul our items to the beach, which was a short walk. I would recommend to those looking for something in the area. About 15 minute uber/lyft ride to downtown. We stopped at Walmart of the way from the airport to stock up on items. If we go back to the area, we will look at renting the property again.

Far beyond my expectations

This house is fantastic! It is not beachfront but the walk is very short (you would likely walk further to the beach from a beachfront hotel.) The beach access is easy and the beach itself was clean and beautiful! The pool is great! and the outdoor living spaces on all three floors were really nicely appointed with comfortable, newer furnishings. The interior of the house was really nice. Kitchen appliance were great and the new stove made fixing meals a breeze. My sister in law is wheel chair bound and the down stair was a very comfortable for her to sleep and get around and it led right out to the pool deck. We had ten people and 6 adults and 4 kids and everyone had ample room and each floor acted as separate living quarters so we were all together but had plenty of private space. We plan on returning soon. We slept on the third floor which did have a partial view of the ocean and beach. And the big flat screens in each area were really nice. Our kids had a popcorn and movie night the first night of our stay. The whole trip was great!

Perfect location, spacious home, nice amenities with pool and close to the beach.

I shared this home with family and friends from Dec 15th to Jan 19th.The home is lovely. Your family will enjoy a great pool and, you truly have only a 5 minute walk to an awesome beach. I walk slowly and timed the walk...still a 5 minute walk! The property has all the fun stuff for the beach (umbrellas, beach chairs, wave boards, sand toys). Floats for the pool. You can hear the surf when relaxing on any of the decks. The home is nicely furnished....all the comforts of your own home. All my guests commented about the comfy beds and nice linens. Plenty of room for large groups to dine, inside or outside. Kitchen is fully equipped to meet all your needs; appliances, cookware, china, glassware and eating utensils. Your hostess, Shannon is absolutely gracious and cares that you have the perfect experience. She provides the little extra touches to ensure you feel welcomed and comfortable. Shannon was a great resource to help us with entertainment Ideas for a 7 year old, as well as guide to local restaurants and places of interest . The community is residential; the neighbors were very welcoming. I much appreciated the quiet serenity of the community and location of the beach. Thank you Shannon for supporting me and our family. Buyer beware

My husband and I rented the home for 28 days. Initially, the owner was communicative and gracious, however upon our arrival things immediately changed. Let me be clear this has nothing to do with the hurricane but rather the storm only confirmed what we believed, this home has many problems. As soon as we walked into the home we were met with very strong and offensive odors including but not limited to mold mildew cigarettes and pet. I immediately called the homeowner to advise. She denied the issues existed. The home had no screens on any windows so we could not open them (the windows were also pollen covered and disgusting). Had the owner been honest and disclosed the pets had been allowed we would not have chosen this home in the first instance. The third floor master has the worst odor of mold and the air intake and out vents were black and disgusting. We could not even sleep up there. After only two days the hurricane hit and of course that is no one’s fault but the storm only showed what we already suspected. As soon as a mild rain started the water poured (literally) through the windows on the third floor soaking the wall and carpets and confirming the mold had been an ongoing issue and again the owner wasn’t honest. During the storm the ceiling on the second floor began leaking and ultimately the plaster on the ceiling fell exposing moldy wood beams in the house. The smells were so bad that it was making us physically sick after only a few days. As soon as the bridge reopened we packed up and left the home. I’m grateful for the horror of the hurricane as it exposed the extremely unsafe and unhealthy conditions of the home that we suspected but were denied. Had we stayed in the home for the duration we would have become even sicker. Yes the homeowner refunded our entire payment for the home which I do appreciate . I do not recommend this home.

All my former Guest reviews attest to the condition and standard of my home. The guest who stayed the month before this was a repeat guest who was at this home for a month with no complaints. This guest arrived 5 days before the hurricane, and as it was approaching New Smyrna area, I communicated to the guest they could leave and come back or wanted to check out early to avoid the hurricane completely, I would fully reimburse her for the unused time. It was important to me that she felt comfortable and enjoyed her stay. She decided to stay during the storm. The hurricane did damage the house siding due to high winds, and some rainwater did get to one of the bedroom ceilings from the side, and a small part of that bedroom ceiling did collapse. I refunded her full stay even though she stayed a week. After the full refund was issued, the guest sent me an email through her law firm to try and intimidate me, as she is an attorney, asking to be reimbursed for her travel expenses, gas, groceries, as well as two reservations she made somewhere else, totaling over $2300, that I would not agree to pay, which I am sure, prompted this negative review. This is my home, and I take good care of it, so I am already in the process of completely replacing all siding and repairing ceiling damage through a general contractor. I cannot control natural disasters or the damage it does to a home. Unfortunately, I cannot meet this guest's expectations or unfair demands. This is not a guest I would give my home to again.

Lovely house, warm pool, great communication with the owner

The house has beautiful decor and landscaping and it's in a very quiet neighborhood. We loved the warm pool and the games (darts/pool table). The house is within walking distance of both ocean (about 5min) and a park with tennis, volleyball and basketball courts. The owner was very responsive to our requests. We'd consider staying there again.

Spring vacation

My husband and I recently returned from a month long vacation and had a wonderful time . Our house was spacious and clean and was able to easily accommodate ourselves and family members that joined us throughout the month. The pool was perfect and the beach just a short walk away. Nice quiet neighborhood and close to area restaurants and shopping. Our host Shannon was wonderful and easily accessible to whatever we needed. Would def recommend this house and look corwaed forward to staying there again.

Nice getaway

Nice location for us and the pool was great after a day at the beach. We were able to spread out for some quiet time and spend time together for meals and relaxation :)

Amazing Getaway !!

We had a great time, there is plenty of room for large families and the pool and decks are a perfect place to just relax. The house is soo close to the beach we walked there everyday. The beds are very comfortable and the house has everything you could need. Shannon was a pleasure to work with. We will definitely be staying there again !

Lovely older home renovated

We had a great long weekend. There were 5 children and 5 adults. Each family took a separate level for sleeping. The kitchen was awesome and newly renovated and stocked with dishes, pans, etc. There were large screen TV's which had all the channels you could want. The kids truly enjoyed the pool and beach. There is a wagon you can load all your beach supplies and take to the beach. Its really a very short walk to a private beach area AND no cars on the beach! That was definitely a plus for us. Shannon responded quickly to all our questions. The only draw back were the mosquitoes. We could not sit outside after sunset. When I advised Shannon she contacted the pest control company. I would definitely stay there again.

The perfect weekend beach home for large group!

We enjoyed your house very much. The kitchen was very well equipped, we cook everyday and even baked. The weather turned out to be ok and so we had a lot of fun hanging out by the pool while grilling. The beach wagon was very convenient for bringing the beach chairs, towels and toys to the beach. All 12 of us slept comfortably and were happy that they could adjust the temperature at every floor. Overall everybody was really happy to be staying the weekend at such a beautiful home and enjoyed celebrating our friend’s birthday.
