Welcome to Fels Haus, your serene haven nestled atop a cliff in the picturesque Red River Gorge area of Kentucky. Named for its rugged beauty, `Cliff House` in German, this inviting cabin offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comforts for an unforgettable getaway.
*Please note that this is a duplex property. The cabin owner visits the area from time to time.

-- THE SPACE --
Non-smoking, pet-free.
Kitchen: fully equipped kitchen offering a rustic but modern feel, oven/range, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and other necessities to make cooking a breeze. (Utility closet in kitchen area with Washer/Dryer)
Living: Comfortable sectional couch and additional seating, WiFi, Smart TV.
Bedroom: Bedroom 1(Downstairs) offers a Queen Bed, Bedroom 2 (Upstairs) offers a Queen Bed and desk, and Bedroom 3 (Upstairs) offers a King Bed with spacious area to hang out.
Bathroom: Full bathroom downstairs offers tub shower combo. Full bathroom upstairs offers tub shower combo.
Outdoor: Spacious deck with outdoor seating, hot tub, propane grill. (Please purchase firewood locally.)

- Fresh linens and towels. We also include essential starter packs to make your stay easier! (Starter packs include: 4 rolls of toilet paper, 1 roll of paper towels, shampoo and conditioner, bodywash, 3 trash bags, and 1 sponge.)
- Easy access. Property is accessed by a blacktop road with small inclines. Trailers prohibited.
- Tranquil location right in Cliffview Resort! Also near Red River Gorge! Rock climbing, horseback riding, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, zip lines, fishing, restaurants, sight-seeing, and more nearby.
- Discover many trails for all hiking enthusiasts! (Please note: hike at your own risk on unmarked trails.)

- Please contact us as soon as possible if you must cancel or reschedule your stay. No refunds or date modifications within 14 days or less of your arrival.
- No refunds are permitted due to weather. No exceptions. Winter weather (snow/ice) and flooding can occur in our area. You should be given the option to add Trip Insurance at booking check-out.
- Please be aware that no refunds are permitted for cancellations on holiday rates, which includes but is not limited to, New Year’s, Valentine`s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

We had a very pleasant and relaxing stay for Thanksgiving weekend. The house is extremely cozy and well appointed. I’ve stayed in many cabins at RRG and this was among the best. Our hosts were excellent at communicating and I would highly recommend this cabin.

Great Girl Trip Getaway!

We had a wonderful experience during our girls trip. The house was comfortable and had almost everything we needed. It felt secluded without being overly remote. Beautiful area! Check in was easy, and we even booked an additional day. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great location! Beautiful cabin.

Family of five including children and grandparent. We all felt very safe and comfortable. Spent many nights in hot tub and made camp fires in the fire pit. The cabin was super clean and modern with many amenities. Close to all the activities that Red River Gorge has to offer!

The kitchen floor was not completely tiled, large, exposed sub floor section. The primary bedroom upstairs did not have any means for covering the window on the glass door to the terrace over the hot tub. there were only 4 white washcloths on site.Other than those Items the house was nice.

Red River Gorge Experience

Accurate description. House was clean, spacious and in a perfect location to meet our needs. Checking in was a breeze. A place to go if you want to get-away from life’s craziness. Easy check-out. A few minor issues with the house were noted and passed along, but nothing that would keep us from considering staying here again!!!

Dirty sheets, roaches

The house was very cute, the location was great. But when arrived there late at night & went to get into our beds, they were dirty, they had not been changed, we also had to kill several roaches, the place sleeps 6 or more people, and we had 2 towels.

Beautiful home!

Everything was just wonderful! Home is exactly as described. Very clean and lots of extra like a diverse bookshelf, a kitchen stocked with plenty of tools and gadgets and a super easy checkout that does not require you to fully clean the home on top of the cleaning fee (I always leave it near how I found it anyway;) ) Very comfortable beds and furniture. We would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Cute modern cabin in the woods.

What a great place for a best friends girl trip! The property was very nice, clean and comfortable. Hot tub was a nice treat. We noticed one of our bedrooms did not have a comforter, and the owner sent someone from housekeeping with a comforter within a few hours. It was great customer service. We didn’t realize the cabin was so close to a large lodge and another cabin, but despite this it was quiet and comfortable. We would visit again!

We (myself, husband, 2 teens and a 10 year old) loved our 3 night stay at Fels Haus! Most importantly for me, it was clean, felt safe, no bugs, shower was hot and water pressure was good! In addition though, it was beautiful, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed. It was located a few steps from Cliffview Lodge where we sat on the deck and enjoyed watching the zipliners come in. Hot tub was so nice and relaxing! The mattresses on all 3 beds are very firm, I personally would have preferred a slightly softer bed but it wasn't a big deal. There is also only one tv and it's in the living room. My tv loving family would have liked tvs in the bedrooms, but again, first world problem, no big deal. 😄 I actually grabbed a book from the collection there and read the whole thing, which was nice. And the kids took turns watching the tv in the evening while the others got in the hot tub. Overall, I highly recommend this cabin and would stay again!

Many nice touches(hooks in bathrooms, bench for shoe storage are examples), beautiful views, enjoyed deck and hot tub. Very clean throughout.
