Our Cabin in the Woods - Big Bear Relaxing Retreat w/ Hot Tub

Welcome to Our Cabin in the Woods- this is the perfect getaway chalet for a family or group of friends looking to experience the best of Big Bear any time of the year. Centrally located within a quick car ride to local activities and boasting all that you will need for relaxing and creating memories under the stars including a fun foosball table and your own private hot tub, your group will love your visit here at our cozy cabin in the woods.

Snuggle up on the plush sectional sofa as you warm your toes in front of the fireplace and pop on a movie on the flat screen TV or challenge each other at a game of foosball conveniently located under the staircase. Around the corner the equipped kitchen and dining room area offers everything you need to prepare home cooked meals and snacks for your adventures out on the lake including cookware and stainless-steel appliances. Enjoy easy access to the lower-level bedroom while both sleeping quarters are located upstairs along with an added bathroom and private balcony off of one of the rooms- perfect for reading a book or sipping your coffee in the mornings.

Outside this mountain oasis allows you to be at one with nature, boasting a great patio area and enclosed private hot tub just outside the kitchen patio slider, you will love soaking your muscles here and unwinding after a fun day out on the mountain. Located just below Bear Mountain Resort in what is known as the Moonridge area, you have quick and easy access to local coffee and donut shops, ski resort shuttles, golf, and the Big Bear Zoo just outside your cabin door. Hop in the car and you are within ten minutes to the grocery store, marina, and Village shops- this truly is an unbeatable cabin in the woods no matter the season you choose to visit!

Big bear cabin

Our family had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin! The hot tub was awesome and so was the fireplace. Wish we could’ve stayed there longer! Find memories of our stay at the cabin will remain forever in our hearts.

Good timeoff at Big Bear

The check-in office staff was really friendly and the cabin was great too. Convenient location close enough to big bear blvd but quite and cozy enough keep my timeoff at Big bear so special. :) Thank you!

Excellent Home for a Family of 4

Beautiful little home with everything you need for a short stay. The couch was big and comfortable. The game table was awesome and in great condition. It's advertised as a foosball table but is actually a 3 in one with air hockey and pool, which my kids LOVED! The hot tub was really nice as well. I would definitely stay again!

Cozy home

This house was so cozy. I specifically picked this house over others because of the hot tub being right outside the back door so I could easily watch my kids. The hot tub was excellent. The neighborhood is very quiet. The couch is huge and so comfortable. All of the kitchen appliances looked practically brand new. - The steps to go upstairs are very steep and there were ants in the kitchen but overall, it’s a great place to stay.

Quaint, perfectly located

We spent the first part of our early afternoon at the zoo and were so happy to drive only 3 mins to get to our weekend home after a five hour drive in. Upon arriving, we saw exactly what the photos depicted. A Big comfy sofa welcomed us in along with a well organized and cute kitchen. Our boys loved the 3 in 1 pool, foosball and air hockey table. We found ourselves in the hot tub only to close out our nights but it was great! Bedrooms were a great size but the master bedroom mattress was extra wobbly! It felt like what I’d imagine a water bed to feel like. Location is suburb whether you need to run to the grocery store or make your way to the slopes. Overall a nice home!

Good Neighbor Policy enforced at all times. Removing trash and Wash Dishes. No Smoking, Parties, Events, Loud Music, Street Parking, or Over Occupancy Allowed. Fines/Evictions possible by both Code Enforcement and Big Bear Vacations.

Check-in after 4:00 pm - Check-out before 10:00 am
No Early Arrival/Late Departure During Peak Seasons or Holidays.

There is No Street Parking Allowed in Big Bear- Make Every Attempt to Get Cars Off the Street for Snowplows. November thru April the law requires snow chains in your cars.

Pet Policy-Pet Friendly Homes Only-$40/Pet/Night
Pets must be acknowledged and may not be left unattended in the home. Owners must clean up after pets; subject to added cleaning fees for violations.

All homes include clean linens, and fresh bath towels for the occupancy. A kitchen with basic cookware and small starter amount of dish soap, toilet paper, and trash bags will be supplied. Paper towels, coffee filters/coffee, specialty appliances, nor condiments/spices/oils are supplied.

No Pay-Per-View Ordering in any homes.

No refunds/credits for cancellations or trip interruptions due to acts of nature, (especially snow, fire, power outages) weather, road conditions, mechanical or electrical failures, spa malfunctions, or other equipment factors beyond our control.

This is a forested mountain community home to critters- animals or insects you may encounter are spiders, moths, flies, squirrels, gophers, bears, coyotes, burro, bear, bats, etc. Our team inspects prior to arrival but cannot guarantee the home will be free of these forest critters.

We reserve the right to offer a comparable property or issue a full refund if circumstances arise that are beyond our control and your property is made unavailable for any reason.
