Estrold's Resort Sno-Drift

The cozy 3 bedroom unit is the lower level of a 3 level Swiss Chalet.

This cabin was remodeled in 2014, after removing a wall in the kitchen the cabin has a much more open feeling. Using lumber off of the property there is a nice custom made all natural pine 2 level bar & countertop. Also added a nice pine tongue & grove ceilings in the living room & bathroom. The large 15’ x 24’ living room features a rustic fieldstone fireplace at one end and a dining area at the other end near the entrance to the fully furnished, freshly remodeled kitchen.

Two large picture windows overlook the entire resort. This unit has 1 newly remodeled full bath with tub/shower and 3 bedrooms which 2 having a queen sized bed & 1 having 2 twin sized beds.

Additionally, a full sized futon is located in the living room along with a 32" Flat Screen TV.

Maximum number of guests allowed to use this unit is 6. RESERVE THIS COZY CABIN AT STEPAWAY VACATION RENTALS

The Sno-Drift has a Flat Screen TV and a DVD player. The kitchen is equipped with an electric stove(new in 2014), a dishwasher, a refrigerator, a microwave, a coffee maker and toaster.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: If you love Little St. Germain Lake like we do, this is the place to stay. Excellent beach with paddle boarding and kayaks, great for the kids. Many activities on the resort and the grounds are clean and kept up. The snowdrift was newly renovated with great furniture, bathroom and extremely spacious living area. We will stay again!

Estrold Resort Review

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Been coming to the Estrold for over 20 years. Been through 4 owners. Let’s just say this year was our least enjoyable. We rented the SnowDrift for a week. I would never rent this unit again. I wouldn’t even call it a cottage it’s a basement. Very musty smelling had water seeping up through the floor, causing the carpets to be wet all the time. There was black mold on the floorboards, no windows in none of the bedrooms to even air out the place. Not worth the price we paid for it. Now that a rental agency has taken over I see this place going downhill. All the nice activities the other owners used to have during the week are all gone. There is nobody on site during the weekend to help with any issues. I needed my boat batteries charged none of the outlets down by the boathouse worked so I had issues charging my boat batteries. There was a group of over 40 people there that were there all related very unfriendly basically took over the entire beach ,the community fire pit had no consideration for the rest of the guests. This was the most people I’ve ever seen at this resort in the 20 years we’ve been coming here. My guess is the cottages were over the listed capacity. Let’s just say after 20 years we will be looking for a new resort the next time we come to the Northwoods.
