Welcome to our quiet, peaceful piece of heaven. A bird watcher and kayaker's paradise. Bring your own kayak or canoe and simply paddle away. Cast a line out and catch a fish or two off of our dock. Relax in a Muskoka chair on the patio in the sun while you enjoy a coffee or tea. Our brand new home is close to the beach, various wineries, breweries, restaurants and shops. World class fishing, golfing and hiking trails all close by. Make your reservation soon.

Beautiful location, we saw bald eagles, hawks, ŵhite herons ... thank you for the binoculars!The unit had absolutely everything we needed for our girls' weekend. So comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated.

We loved our stay at the Wild Goose landing!My husband and I were hoping for a relaxing long weekend and that is what we got! The grounds were beautiful. The home was exceptionally clean and the stay was incredibly peaceful. We had no need to contact the hosts because everything was as it should be.We were able to see a pair of eagles every morning along with blue herons, ducks and a host of birds. The sounds of nature were like a symphony and the sunsets were wonderful! We would have given a 5 rating except that we found the beds very firm for our comfort level and that disturbed our sleep a bit, but other than that it was an amazing property! This is definitely a place that you want to check out. It is close to town and close to wineries and once you are in the home it feels very private. I am sure that you will enjoy your stay as much as we did.

Host was responsive, and home itself is a new build and great space. However, the inside was not very clean, sheets and toilet had hairs on/in them and bugs and dust in corners all around the house. For one night stay we were charged 120 cleaning fee to stay in a dirty place. We had to change our room sheets, I did talk with the owner directly about this and got a half warm apology. Great bonfire space but lighter fuel was empty /no way to utilize the bonfire

New, well appointed property. Unique, narrow dwelling with 2 smaller queen bedrooms.Great for cycling to wineries for us but a fair drive to downtown eateries.

Super easy check in. Wild Goode was in a perfect location for us, very new looking home. Comfortable beds and peacefully morning coffee out on the dock by the marsh. Everything we needed for a great stay.

The hosts were amazing; easy and quick to communicate with. The property is well maintained, very clean, and comfortable. The seating area is quite small with no kitchen / coffee table but other than that it was perfect for what we needed. Thanks for a great stay.

Nice place, newly built

Property was great and clean just missing a dining table, too hot to eat outside. Could use cable or antenna for local channels and access to stereo equipment but otherwise comfortable stay, great location with lots to do.

The property backs to wetlands and the designer did an amazing job maximizing viewing opportunities. It is wonderful to sip a coffee watching birds welcome the morning. It is modern (recent construction) and well equipped.Very short drive to Kingsville and 20 minutes to Leamington. (Point Pelee and the Ferry to Pelee Island) . Hosts replied promptly to us. We had a lovely visit and this property played a part on the overall great trip we had. Highly recommend it.

Lots of Birds

The cottage is newer and lots of birds come to the river behind the house.The beach is just down the street. We visited Pelee Island which the ferry was a short driveand went to Point Pelee on our way home. Theres also a awesome garden centre in the area with an arcade, mini golf, petting zoo, playground, and amazing chicken restaurant great for kids. The cottage was really nice and had a great outdoor space including a dock.

OUR STAY

The hosts were great and responded in a timely manner. The space is beautiful, as advertised, very peaceful. The temperature inside was really warm during the day (despite the a/c being on). I'm guessing it is due to the direct sunlight and all of the windows, but cooled it off in the evening. It was a really pleasant stay and a overall great experience. I would highly recommend this space to any one.

This location was specifically chosen to be built on as the property lies across from Lake Erie, so you still hear the waves. The focus however is the Provincially significant wetland that the house overlooks. Newly designed windows allow amazing views of the natural activity out back. There are an abundance of animals and wildlife. From the Bald Eagles on the trees across the marsh to the ducks, geese, cranes, turtles and so much more. Never a dull moment overlooking this natural setting as there is always something to see. Cedar Beach is a short walk or drive away if you feel like relaxing in the sun. Explore the local wineries, breweries, local shops and our hometown of Kingsville.

This peaceful setting is a great escape location. The home has all luxuries for your stay, comfy beds, televisions and a full kitchen. Like to Boat? If you chose to bring your own boat there is Lake Erie access close by for amazing world class freshwater fishing. If you'd like to stay closer and still explore, simply splash a kayak or canoe out back and paddle for hours through nature as there are miles of water to see.
