Incredible custom home right on the water. Unobstructed view of Figure Eight/Middle Sound over the Intracoastal Waterway on Middle Sound Loop in Wilmington NC. Amazing vistas over the Sound and ICW. Great birding site - herons, egrets, ospreys, kingfishers, oystercatchers, and seagulls. We often see dolphins up close, and fishermen love our area!

Your own private dock with 24 hour deepwater access, plenty of water toys including kayak, stand-up paddleboard. Personal powerboat is available for a supplemental fee, and can be waiting at your private dock from our friends at nearby Entropy Boat Rentals.

The house boasts a 40 foot dock, which provides power outlet and filtered freshwater supply for boating convenience. We even provide crabpots for those inclined to catch Carolina blue crab and the occasional stone crab. Very good site for casting right off our dock. After the devastating hurricane of September 2018, we rebuilt the dock entirely with 316-grade stainless steel fasteners,fittings and cleats, all new pilings and decking, a 4-ft width aluminum ramp, and a 40x10 foot floating dock.

This well-apportioned, immaculate home is an Interior Designer's personal residence. The stunning east-facing master suite rewards the early riser with striking sunrise hues and sweeping views of Figure Eight inlet and the Intracoastal Waterway. The master suite has its own deck, and en suite private bathroom with a huge shower and coupled showerheads. Another upper level bedroom is also en suite with its own deck with built-in seating, while the third upper bedroom is also en suite. Each bedroom is customized but harmonious with the cheerful color scheme.

A full-width deck ensures a wonderful view from the entire main level, whose open floorplan allows for easy entertaining. On the lower level, the full-width patio features Adirondack chairs and a hammock for enjoying the waterfront vista, as well as an outdoor grill to broil your fresh catch to perfection.

Privacy and luxury abound at "Maison Blanc", furnished in harmonious colors, enhanced by striking original sailing photographs, and by vintage Art Deco travel and sporting posters. Contactless check-in and enhanced cleaning are standard, for your peace of mind. We love our home, and invite you to see why!

We rented Maison Blanc while traveling to Wilmington with two other couples. It was graduation weekend, and the PGA Tour was in town so we especially wanted to be able to get away from the hustle and bustle. Jon & Lane's home was perfect for our group. The house is beautiful, and we so enjoyed the large deck and yard. The kitchen is well stocked and organized and we cooked most nights. If we are ever back in th area, we would certainly stay here again!

Perfect for our family!

The house was very well equipped for our party of 10! We stayed off the beach for the majority of our stay, preferring the sound. It was beautiful and relaxing! The owners were very responsive to questions. The check in and.out procedures were clear and easy to follow. Plenty of parking and in a quiet area. And we.watched July 4th fireworks right off the back deck. We definitely intend to stay here again!

My Dream Home

This house was incredible! The views were breathtaking and the home itself was in perfect shape. We barely spent anytime indoors as the docks and deck provided the perfect hang-out spots. We brought our boat (you can rent one next door if you don't have one), which allowed us to fully enjoy the intracoastal waterway and inlets to the North and South of Figure 8 Island. The dock is great for leaving your boat in the water as most passing traffic is at no-wake speed. Everyone on our trip had a blast. It is a really special house in a dream location.

Memorial day week

Memorial day week I rented this house with family members and friends for the week. It was fantastic. Beautiful views I’ll be intercoastal and figure 8 Island. We rented a boat and went fishing every day. Loved sitting on the porch in the evenings after grilling dinner. It’s also very convenient To the main road for any shopping you need to do.

Pleasure and Peace at the sea

This beautifully decorated home is in a phenomenal location on a creek almost at the junction of the intercoastalwaterway. Fabulous large rooms with lots of light and comfortable furniture made living here a pleasure. The kitchen is very fully equipped and we enjoyed preparing meals for 6 and eating outside on the screened in porch. The back lawn facing the water was great for croquet! We rented a boat from Entropy Boats, right next door and loved having the freedom to go to beaches that were in nature areas. The house dock is fabulous for diving in to cool off or launch the kayak or tie up the boat. The hosts were so friendly and helpful both in the booking process and through our stay. We were so sorry to leave and would go back in a heartbeat!

We loved it!

We had a great week at this property! We brought our boat and spent most of our time out on the water and not at the house but when we came back at night, we were thankful that the kitchen was stocked with the things you need to prepare a meal and the house was clean. We will be back! Also, the owners were extremely responsive when we had questions.

I cannot thank you enough for making our trip to Wilmington the best ever. We absolutely loved the home and the location. As soon as we walked in an saw the gorgeous views we felt at home. We absolutely love being right on the waterfront, and enjoy 24-hour boating access from our private dock. We recently (this spring) renovated the house. The new master suite is stunning, and the just-completed ground floor sitting room has an awesome picture window view!
