With a cabin just shy of 1000 sq/ft., there is plenty of room for your family to come and relax Lake side! Dock access for 2 boats. Electric plug in by dock. Boat launch up the lane way. Outdoor BBQ for all your grilling needs!

Great stay

Had a very good time at the Muskie point cabin. Had everything we need to enjoy our 5 days of fishing. Owners provided us with a few items we had forgotten and also pointed us in the right direction to find the fish. Thank you for a great stay.

2 weeks of fishing and relaxation

It’s a cute rustic cabin with a lovely view of the lake. We picked this place for location and internet access. We had a couple of power outages during our stay, but our host kept us informed and we didn’t mind. We would definitely stay again.

muskie point

The cottage was comfortable, our group had 4 people. The dock was good for two boats, had power for charging batteries down to boats. Owner said he was going to put a enclosed fish cleaning station. For now used the table on lower deck to clean fish. At night had to deal with bugs. Owners are new and are working to keep improving the property, they are very friendly and helpful. Would go back to this property again.

A+ Location but property needs work

The view and access to the lake is superb but the property needs lots of work. Owners are nice and easy to communicate with (they live beside the property so issues are resolved immediately) and provided necessities for a comfortable stay but the property needs work. No doors on both rooms are the lowest points so might not be suitable for guests that are not families. Kids loved internet access as well as the games provided so we were never bored on that rainy night. We did feel the warm cabin vibe but overall the property is tired and desperately needs updating for some folks with higher standards. Tons of potential due to location.

Our first impression from the outside was not the best but once we went in it was good. The rooms and kitchen were clean. We had enough bedding for all of us. Kitchen had everything except for an air fryer, which was fine as we were told ahead of time so we took our own. The cottage backed onto the lake. We had a beautiful view of the lake. It was very quite and peaceful. Our host got back to us right away when we had any questions. The post shows a bunk bed, but the room has 2 single bed which actually worked out better for us.The only thing we didn't like was there were lots of spider webs on the front entrance, on the house, on the deck and in the house. Overall we had a wonderful stay and recommend it.

The place was perfect for a week of fishing. Great view, close proximity to the boat launch, electricity close to charge the boat batteries, easy drive for gas for the boat, co-op and other stores close by. The hosts were friendly and very responsive. We forgot gas cans and they let us borrow a couple. We ran out of toilet paper and soap - they got them to us right away. Overall, a very good experience.

Great Place to stay! Hosts were friendly and right next door. Even offered fishing tips! Only notes would be it’s dark in living room at night and struggled to find place to hang rain gear. Super nitpicking. Would absolutely stay again and plan on staying again next year
