Beachside At The Heads

Bright and cheerful older style beach cottage with Seven Mile Beach at the end of the street, a gentle 7 minute level walk. Fenced rear yard is safe for kids over 3, mature gardens and fruit trees. Outdoor shower, BBQ on the spacious rear patio completes the casual, breezy indoor/outdoor holiday vibe. Three bedrooms all with ceiling fans. Smart TV, wifi. Bathroom has separate toilet. No pets or children under 3 but try our other listing, Barefoot@The Heads which does.

During Christmas- New Year booking period (December 21st 2024-January 5th 2025 we have a 7 night minimum and check in is a Sunday and check out is a Saturday only.

Free internet with study nook means suitable to work from home. All linen provided except BYO beach towels. Outdoor furniture provided on the back deck overlooking the grassy yard where you will spend most of your time unwinding. Perfect for couples or families and groups of friends.

This is a pet free listing, due to owner's family member serious allergies. If you are needing to bring an accredited assistance dog you need to supply the host with documentation proof at the time of booking, prior to your arrival. Assistance animals are required to be with their handler at all times and must not be left unattended. As per regulations we are permitted to refuse entry to Emotional Support Animals at this listing. We have other listings which welcome pets.

Be sure to explore the many facilities in the Heads. We are metres to the pump track, bike and skate park with BBQs, half basketball court as well as the local pool. Easy walking distance to shops, Bowlo and Golf Club. Dining options range from local fine dining at Bangalay Villas, Berry and the surrounding wineries (be sure to book ahead) to more casual local options catering for easy meals including pizza, Chinese, fish and chips, Heads Hotel on the River and the Heads Bowlo and Golf Clubs. If you prefer self catering a hidden gem at the Heads is the Mountain Side Meats Butchery. Other local shops include The Village Grocer (open 7 days 7-7) Bakery, Pharmacy, Post Office and Bottle Shop. There is also a local vet and doctor.

Leisure activities including horse riding, the local swimming pool, Jerry Bailey bike and pump track, picnic tables with BBQ and brand new fenced dog park and Golf Club. Council has recently resurfaced the tennis courts (just around the corner from us) and there is a brand new practice wall. Mostly flat the Heads is very easy to walk or ride around but also provides some great bike and walking tracks for the more adventurous to explore.
