Picture window fogged up needs replacing. Window on porch also needs replacing. Both windows take away from water views. Property has some junk lying around the grounds. The string lights on the deck did not work.The inside is nicely decorated and has the things you need for a nice stay.

Thank you for the kind words about the inside decor and comfort of the home. We appreciate you flagging the maintenance items — the fogged picture window and porch window will be replaced tomorrow, any junk around the grounds will be picked up tomorrow if present, and the deck string lights will be checked tomorrow as well.

Spotless lakefront home with an amazing deck! We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully maintained and exceptionally clean lakefront home. The host's communication was excellent from start to finish. Our absolute favorite spot was sitting on the deck right off the sunroom, taking in the gorgeous lake views. Just as a helpful heads-up for future guests: the main floor shower stall is very small and might be a tight squeeze for larger individuals. There is a little bit larger shower downstairs, but it does require walking down a flight of 10 steps. Overall, it is a fantastic property and we highly recommend it!

Place waa nice location. One of the toilets was bot able to be used due to septic issues. Attempted to come and fix it but it started to clog again. It was a bit of a challenge to have one toilet with a family of 5.

We're glad you enjoyed the location. We're sorry the septic issue with one of the toilets caused trouble during your stay, especially with a family of five sharing one bathroom. A technician addressed the septic issue, and everything is now fixed.

Beautiful home in a wooded area with private dock. Stunning lakefront views from most rooms in the well-appointed house and from a fabulous deck which the owners have enhanced with string lights. Well appointed kitchen, great open-plan gathering space.

Wonderful little gem

A small group of friends and I enjoyed this wonderful property for a quiet Memorial Day weekend together, and everything lived up to or exceeded expectations set by the listing. This is a hidden gem of a place to stay and I am already planning a trip back with my family.

Beautiful location

Lovely property right on the water. Very peaceful and perfect for a short getaway! We enjoyed using the fire pit on the last evening of our stay. Great family memories!

Relaxing and Clean

Loved this cabin! Highly recommend staying here. It was very clean, comfortable and had beautiful bathrooms and appliances. Definitely coming back to stay here- family of five with two small kiddos.

The home was very clean and check in, communication and flexibility with check in was great. I will say that we were a little taken a back at the lack of furniture. The basement, which looked to be the most updated had NO furniture. There seemed to be some sort of trundle bed, but seemed to be all "tied up" and not something we would use to sit. Other than a smaller couch in the main living room, if you had no room on the couch, you were sitting at the table to watch TV. The upstairs loft has NOTHING to place clothes, personal items, etc. Just a bed, with no headboard. bed and frame. Our pillows were up against the window above our heads and slipped off the back. The sheets, while clean, had an old "stain". UGH. One bedside table. so phones and water sat on the floor. We just worked with our suitcases on the floor. The stairs are also dangerously different sizes at the top and bottom. Very odd. We had about 4 towels and 2 face cloths for the weekend for 4 people getting ready for a wedding. The lighting in the home is weird. This sounds nit-picky, but it was weird. They need lamps. Our options were BRIGHT overhead lights from the kitchen which didn't really light the living room or a crazy light with fluorescent office bulbs in the living room. BRIGHT WHITE. The home has amazing potential - but more love with lighting, places to sit, and making the loft more user friendly would make it a wonderful stay. And a sign about being careful on the loft stairs.

Great Stay!

We had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful and in a spectacular location! We enjoyed Calvert Cliffs, Solomon's Island and Annmarie Sculpture and Gardens. Host was very attentive and answered all my questions very quickly. :)

Close to Calvert Cliffs

We had a lovely time at the Lusby home. Close to Calvert Cliffs, Flag Pond and Solomon's Island. The neighborhood was quiet and nice. There is a beach at the lake but we didn't use it. Canoe and kayak available for exploring the lake.

Wonderful stay, will be returning

I rented this little gem of a space for a few friends and I to enjoy a quiet Memorial Day weekend together on the water. Everything met or exceeded expectations based on the property listing. We enjoyed beautiful scenery and wildlife, delicious food around the fire pit, and a wonderful trip to Calvert Cliffs. I am already planning a return with my family at a later date.

The house was the perfect setting for our last summer weekend before our kids head off to college. We were in town for a concert at the Calvert Marine Museum and this was the perfect place to stay to enjoy swimming and kayaking on the lake. Peaceful, relaxing and comfortable. This place has everything you need and impeccably clean. We had plenty of room for 6 adults. Great communication! We would stay again for sure!

College parents weekend

My daughter is a freshman at St. Mary's college, we rented the cabin for parents weekend and her 2 brothers came along. We had a lovely time. Rooms were comfortable, showers were updated and new, great fire pit and walk out to doc. My daughter wanted home cooking so we made great use of the kitchen. All new appliances, large enough kitchen for my husband and me to cook together. My daughter enjoyed being away from campus for the weekend and playing board games with her bros. Great trip, would recommend and hope to be back next year!!

Lakefront Lusby Home w/ Fire Pit

The Lusby Lake House is very nice & clean. The home has 3 levels, you'll enter on the second floor, has a finished basement and loft bedroom with queen sized bed. The home has a cabin vibe on the second floor and loft. The basement decor is consistent with modern living, is bright with an open floor plan. The basement has walk-out access (french doors) to the fire pit and dock. Off the second floor there is an air-conditioned sitting area which connects to the outside deck and an unobstructed view of the lake. Drive slow on arrival as the property has a hidden driveway that leads to this cloistered Lake Lusby jewel.
