The Space:

An abundance of sun, bird song and the ever-changing light will make your stay a memorable experience. The romance of passing yachts, the ferry gliding to and from the island and an iconic, weathered red woolshed on the foreshore draws your eye and is a reminder of yesteryear. On a clear night view the dazzling display of stars in the Milky Way and the far distant City lights.

Take your book, music or wine and find the bench nestled amongst the shared gardens located at the entrance for some ‘you’ time.


And now for the interiors - muted furnishings, thoughtful touches provide a quiet space of comfort. Complemented with high ceilings and large sliding doors to your own private balcony with BBQ, Kauri studio is truly a place to unwind. The well-equipped kitchenette caters to all your needs for an evening in or for an extended stay. A comfortable queen size bed with ensuite; flat-screen television, complimentary Wi-Fi and Netflix to enjoy. Onsite parking is available a few steps from your door.

Please note: An exit cleaning fee of $150 and $25 per person applies to each stay. Beach towels can also be hired for $7.50 per person, per stay. Minimum stays: 3 nights between mid December and early January, 2 nights at all other times.

The Neighborhood:
A nature and walkers paradise, the property is situated on the popular Te Ara Hura track and trails start in either direction from the property entrance.

Getting Around:
Waiheke Island is 20km long. Our properties are mainly located in the first 10km. Taxis are available but can be expensive. Regular bus services operate around the island. There is easy parking at the property.

Interaction with Guests:
Our team is available 7 days a week 8:30 am to 5pm for guests and for emergencies after hours.
